Lots of positive energy coming your way Salem! I hope all good news of course.

Well I filled the dolphin and screwed it onto the d2. It fired right up with no issues there. I set it to 45watts and boy does that tank get hot after a few consecutive pulls!
I have tried the vaporesso coils in the target and will concur that the ramp up time is much faster in the target.
My favorite flavor is in the dolphin right now but I am not tasting it very much. It's very different. I keep remembering everyone saying that it just gets better with time, so time is what I'm going to give it. :)
The flavor seemed better in the target (although it was a different flavor than I have in the dolphin). The target had been sitting with juice in our display case for awhile so maybe it just had more time to fully soak it in.

Anyways, there's my initial thoughts and I will let you know more this weekend. :)

Have a good night everyone.
I gotta hit the sheets; Friday is heading our way!!!
Zzzzzzzzz

It is true, Tracy. Give that tank a fill or two and you will not believe the flavor. You may already know this from using the cCells though. Honestly, day 12 on first coil and it just keeps getting better. :)

Lots of "reviewers" are raving about flavor in the Dolphin. It is just the fact that they seem to be made like POS that irks the heck out of me. I am sticking with my kanthal cCells for now. Inexpensive, last a very long time and the flavor is outstanding.

I really should be heading to be myself. Know I will regret not doing so when 6am rolls around.

Hi y'all. I just found this link again. It got lost on my last pc build.
Any way sorry for your problems with your mom. That can be a real challenge.
I got an IPV 4 with N Aspire Atlantis tank and Smok vctx2. I like the Smok better than the Atlantis but they're pretty close. But I bet I haven't got 2 weeks of use out of it because for some reason the batteries slowly discharges even when it's shut off. Got tired of pulling the batteries when I was done vaping.
LD I wanted to pay back the visit you did at Ikenvape. It was nice to talk to you again buddy

Fran, Bo, my two compadres and Tracy, Hi to you.

Now that I have the link again I can stop by now and again.
Adios mi amigos.

Hey Five !!!!!!!!!!!!

Salem I hope all is well with MamaGold....

I jacked around with the not NiChrome {IDK what wire is in there} coil for a good while today.....never did get assembled without shorting....Got the NiChrome on the rack and found the ground touching the hot plug....Just pushed it off the hot plug with a screwdriver.....no dis-assembly of the coil required....I didn't see a problem with ramp up time but I've been using large coils for a spell so maybe I'm used to it....I'll use the Dolphin until the NiChrome coil sheets the bed and then trash it....Flavor I find OK....Little better than the Crown but the Crown is well past a month X3 coils....Longest lasting coils I've ever seen.....

Supposed to awake to snow in the am....So I'll sleep until the freekin pm.....

Debating the big picture......I've decided to put what parts I've assembled on the Samurai and sell it....I've got my Dad's 1979 Bronco just sitting and have decided my efforts would be best there....I just bit off more than I can chew.....4 vehicles is kinda excessive....It's a good little 4x4 and i'll hold out for a little profit....That is unless I change my mind......

I had it all set to buy a pearl white 02 Eldorado touring from the kid next door and when I told him I talked to the bank he got cold feet. Said he'd talk to his girlfriend but never heard back. I saw her and she said he's going back and forth. I guess I'll look for something else but I do like that LDrado.

Salem, will be thinking of you today and hoping for good test results for mama gold.

ElDee, I'm hoping it isn't much of the white stuff.

Everyone, make it a great day!

Great to see you here, 5C!!!!!

Test results weren't great. My mom actually does have a significant blockage in her carotid artery. Not the two going up either side of the neck but, the main one coming from the heart that those two feed from. Another MRI that will take a closer look at that one is scheduled.

The MRI of her brain does show a few strokes and a few brain bleeds. The Neuro told her that she MUST quit smoking NOW. Not going to phase her though. She had seen the thick vapor that I get from this ceramic coil and commented on it a few times. When we left the exam room, I asked if she thought she would like vaping any better if I set her up with the same. She told e that she has no desire to quit smoking. That it's not like they can save her life or anything  I was too freaking tired from the week to even argue with her about it. She thinks that she is at deaths door anyway even though many Drs have told her that is not the case. What I see happening is that she won't just keel over and die. Instead she will be left like a zombie for the rest of us to deal with. All for the sake of the damn cigs.

The Pulmo doc just told her the same as the Neuro. She is right at the point where her COPD will turn from moderate to severe. She MUST quit smoking. She is not going to do it until she is on oxygen or incapacitated though.

She just told the Neuro today about how high her IQ was not that long ago. So, she knows she is nowhere near as smart as she was. Still won't listen to rational input of others though. The decisions that she is making are horrible and there is just no dealing with her on it. Yet, it is my sister and I that will have no choice but to deal with the fallout.

I told her after her cancer surgery that I was not going to buy her cigs for her (once she started back smoking) and she continues to manipulate me into doing it. Those days are done. If she is not able to get her own, I guess she will go without.

Bah, that's my rant for the day :) Think I need a long nap.

Five I've got an old friend who's mom is in the late stages of dementia....She drove a 73 baby blue El Dorado....@ 1988 I spent a few weeks laying down a fresh coat of baby blue on it....Back then the good paint would last forever and I was informed a couple of weeks back the El Dorado was still shining bright....My old buddy also said I could get it if I wanted....I figured it best the El Dorado stayed in his possession and told him so.....

My finding on the Dolphin short....The non NiChrome coi I believe is stainless steel wire....Looks like 26 or 24 guage....You can take it all apart and bend the wires just so but they go back to contact when the pin is pushed in...They are to big and unruly for such a small area....The silicon gasket also isn't up too the challenge of keeping the large wire insulated....I saw where it had given way with only about 1/4 of a tank vaped....The NiChrome coil has two small wires and stays pretty much where you put it....I don't think it will survive a cotton change though....If I do rewick I'll first remove some cotton and after I get that in place pull the pin and inspect the wires...I got better sheet to do though....The slide to fill is great once you get adjusted to it....I'd prefer to see the Altus style coil in a tank I approve of....That coil is soldered too the base....If they last as claimed permenant attachment too the base is the way too fly IMO......

My Dodge sits and is nasty....diesel is down in price so I can actually afford to drive it again....the dang sending unit in the tank sheet the bed so it's a crap shoot as to how much diesel is in the tank...It needs a minute in the shop....the Ranger....I've had it near on 3 years and it came to me with a new set of Chinese tires...I can't complain about those tires but they are getting a little slick....I've got a new set of Mickey Thompson wheels sitting in wait for those new tires....I plan on some new coil springs in the front and a new set of shocks before the tires....The 79 Bronco I inherieted when my Sis got a loan from Mom to purchase the land where she built her house....It's got a 351 Cleveland from my hand and is quiet a nasty sounding engine....Gas went through the roof and bronco Billy is a gasaholic....Still though it's a hella 4x4 as is the Dodge....Sitting has done it no good....So with all that plus a HD and a couple of boats and mowers to keep running what do I do???? Buy a Samurai...At least Sammys have a cult following and are in demand....I'm definitely gonna float it on the sale site....

Oh, yeah. Dementia she has for sure. Not AZ but smoking related. After these last few tests he is going to start her on meds for it.
Salem there's also two big veins that go up in the back of your head that cause brain problems. After I had that TIA I read up on them and another symptom is headaches. I get terrible ones sometimes in the AM that pain killers won't touch. After I get all this other medical crap done I'm going to have mine checked and fixed if they are bad.
I can understand your mom though. I tell my daughter it's not the quantity of life but the quality and if I to live in a glass room and do nothing they may as well pull the plug.

LD that sounds like a nice Cad. I love Cadillac Eldorados but especially the ones with the 02 body style. I think they were that style from the late 90s until 02.
There was a few older models that were nice too.

Sorry to hear about MamaGold's diagnosis Salem.....

Nicotine is a vaso constrictor.......So in a perfect world MamaGold should quit all nicotine....Pretty sure vaping doesn't contribute to COPD....I feel for your situation....hang in there !!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a saying, it is not nicotine that kills, it is the tar. Both docs are fine with nicotine and even offered nicotine patches. Nicotine has actually been shown to help with dementia. Trust me when i tell you that they would be thrilled if she only used nicotine and got off the cigs :)

I hear you, 5C and do get that point. I just really feel like the quality of her life would greatly improve if she put down the cigs. She can't breathe for one thing. She quit after the colon cancer surgery for almost 3 months. Her breathing was dramatically improved.

I know that I am in mixed company but even the guys should understand this. She went for years not being able to wear a bra because it put too much pressure on her diaphragm, making it more difficult to breathe. During the 3 months she vaped without smoking, she could again wear a bra. No more baggie .... scrub tops for her! Seriously, I am only telling you all this to explain just how much of a difference in her quality of life quitting would make. Heck, if anything she lives in a glass bubble now. Chained to her kitchen table and the cigs.
