Yes it does, how are things in your world, Wuzz?
Hi Bov. My world is a mess but thanx for asking. We had a CT scan last Friday that we'll get the results from next Monday. I'm pretty sure it will show the tumor as having shrunk from the daily radiation. The downside is that's absolutely all the radiation they can do without paralyzing her. There's no more chemo either due to it being resistant. She was on oral chemo when it grew back. All our hopes now lie in prayer and immunotherapy. Overall she feels pretty good at this point and we're enjoying today to the fullest. I really love 5card's sig line. It's becoming my morning prayer.

Need to rename this thread "Caregivers Retreat". It takes a lot out of a person.

Amen to that, brother.

I went to dentist to get a cleaning today. Of course I have several issues going on in my mouth  The $ that I have invested in my mouth is just unreal.

Anyway, the dentist noticed how dry my mouth is. He thinks that could be causing some of my dental issues. He suspects that it is medication induced but, my bet is that vaping plays a part.

I told him that I drink water by the gallons. He said that as far as the mouth goes, that is really only a temporary fix. In other words it really does not hep to create more saliva.

The good news is that none of the 3 of us have any Dr appointments until next Wednesday :D It is going to feel like a vacation.

Wuzz, Bov could not have said it any better. All that you really can do at this point is to pray and enjoy as many seconds as you can together. I am happy to know that your wife is feeling pretty good right now.

You know that you both continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Life is just so unfair sometimes.

(((hugs))) to you both.

Salem, have you tried the mouth rinse for dry mouth yet? I have some (biotene? I think) and it works pretty well.

That is what I have been using, Tracy. It works just not for long. I also have sleep apnea so I wear a cpap at night. You have never felt truly dry mouth until you have been dried out from a cpap.

Cracks me up now but, a few years ago we were going to sell our house and move back home closer to son and grandson. Well, a realtor called us about 7am one morning. I took my mask off to answer the phone. My mouth was so dry that I couldn't even speak. The realtor kept asking if I was alright or did I need help. She finally said she would call back later and hung up. She never did call back

I use the Biotene rinse plus, I use the spray right before putting my mask on. That stuff is just not very long lasting. This prescription stuff is supposed to be. Guess that I will find out tonight.

Just got back from my moms house and came straight here to tell you guys. Excellent news from me for a change! My mom has been on the antibiotic for two days and is already close to being her old self! SO much more alert and clear headed that it is almost unbelievable.

She said that she feels better than she has in a very, very long time. Huge improvement!
