Good morning!!!
They're calling for a bit of a (welcomed) warm up here today of 30 degrees! With it is also 2-3 inches of the white stuff followed by 1/10 of an inch of sleet and ice tonight. Hoping to get home before the ugly starts.

That would actually be warmer than it was/is here if you can believe that.
I had to take my mom for a test today and it was FREEZING cold out there! 26 degrees and felt colder with the wind.
My moms so funny. She watches the weather warnings that scroll across the top of the TV. She called me at least 3 times today to make sure that I thought it was safe to go. She was afraid that we would be inside the Health Campus and get iced in there lol I assured her that I could get us there and back safely so, off we went.
After all of that, we get there. wait maybe 5 minutes and she pipes up with her famous, I don't know if I can wait much longer. Said she was feeling dizzy. I promptly told her that after all I went through to get her there, we were staying. If the dizziness was an indication of anything going on, we couldn't be in a better place.
She used to just stand up in the waiting room and tell me that we were leaving. I put an end to that fairly quick. Real PITA to wait 30 minutes and then have to go back and do it all again because we never saw anyone the first time.
Nothing but a light, misty ice here for us today.
