Ok. I had to gather my links. Some of you may remember when I was able to sample some of the ceramic coils from LeCig? The only problem was that I couldn't find an atty that the ceramic cores would fit into.

I knew that shortly after that FT started to carry them but, still had the issue of what would they fit? Now, I know :D This will be a much cheaper option for all of us that love the ceramic coils so I am very excited about it.

You can get a box of 10 ceramic cores here $3.93 Ceramic Resistance Heating Wire for E-Cigarettes (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping for just under $4.00 The really cool part is that they fit the Melo ECR (rebuildable/reusable and fit any tank that uses atlantis or cCell coils) here $2.03 Authentic Eleaf MELO 2/iJust 2 Replacement ECR Coil Head - 1ohm(20-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I stumbled across this information when I was reading the other day here FastTech Staff: Metal Wire Type: FastTech Forums

Also note that they are available in a few different resistance from .2 up to 1 ohm.

I am going to leave this here because even though you can't see the ceramic in the ccell as you are able to with these, this is still the best way to clean once the flavor starts tasting off IMHO

Awesome info, Salem!! I'm a huge fan of the cCells, but have been worried about whether or not I'll be able to get them after all of the Deeming Regs kick into full effect. These would be cheap enough and easy enough to stock up on to get me through quite a long time and still be able to vape on ceramic coils... Very much appreciate your sharing of this! :)

Also, thanks @markfm for leaving the breadcrumbs for me to follow!

No problem at all. I also shared it down in the JT Ultimo thread. I do pop into the Vaporesso thread every now and again. I would have mentioned these months ago except for the fact that the few of us testing them were not able to easily find anything that these would fit in. I think that these may actually be the same cores that are inside of the cCells. A few folks were trying to figure out a rebuild for the cCells for the same reasons that you mention but now there is no reason to go through all of that :D

Funny thing is that I use Melo 2 tanks for my cCells. I never gave a 2nd thought to trying those cores in an ECR head.

Yeah, I've looked at even rebuilding them for use with rayon instead of ceramic, but it just didn't work as well. That Melo RBA head looks like that would definitely do the trick very nicely! I'm assuming that the cores at FT are using kanthal... it'd be nice if they start to offer them with SS coils, although I do really like the 0.9Ω kanthal ones the best. ;)

Good info Salem :) I posted a link to this over in the kawvee thread I'm often in. I e-mailed myself the post content, if it gets lost in the shuffle :)

Cool. Share it anywhere that you are able to. I am thrilled with the info myself.

I actually have an unused core that I got from LeCig around here somewhere. I packed it all up not long ago. I need to see if I can find it although I don't think that FT will take too long to get here.

You did notice that they have the .9, right? I am going strictly by what the one reviewer at FT said about them fitting perfectly into the ECR but, I am sure that he would not mislead the masses. I hope lol

.9 here $3.93 Ceramic Resistance Heating Wire for E-Cigarettes (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.9ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Quoted from FT forum "I have been using the 0.5 for one week and the 0.9 for two weeks & there good. The ceramic is not bad in these. Much better compered to these Vaporesso cells where the ceramic tuns to mosh after a few weeks.

All you have to is lightly wrap around some cotton around the out side (not much) as to hold it in place & to stop any leaking.

The best RBA system for this is Eleaf SKU 4563200 as its a perfect fit & is so easy to build!"

Also, you are able to put in request at FT. You could always reqeust them in SS. They are pretty good about stocking things if they are able to do so.

FT (and GB) has been consistently decent for me. I always do the lowest cost USPS upgrade (e-packet or equivalent). I should be ordering another little Narda clone this weekend, a fun change from my Avocado tank when I'm sitting in the office.

Yeah, I noticed that, too, and read through several of the reviews and discussions over there. I haven't put in a request for SS yet, but I may do that shortly. I just ordered some of the SS cCells from FT and haven't had a chance to try them yet. I'll give them a shot before I put in the request. I just know that I didn't really care for the nickel cCells at all. The kanthal ones have been my go-to since January when the first Target came out. (I got lucky and won one of the white/orange ones from Heaven Gifts.) Still need to get a Target Pro, but I'm in no rush. My go-to TC mod right now is the Sigelei Fuchai with a CoilArt Mage with a dual coil SS build. That setup is right up there with the ceramic coils for flavor!

The SS cCell are good. You are able to use them at higher wattage.

I am using a JT Ultimo tank right now. The ceramic coil head is awesome. Flat and much larger piece of ceramic than the cCells. It is the diameter of the tank. They offer QCS Notch coils with them which the user is able to easily change the cotton out. They are very good as well.

Good to know. I've got a 5-pack of 'em from FT, so I'll give 'em a shot soon. Prolly do the same as I do with the Kanthal ones. Start around 25W, and bump it from there. Usually after a few days, I end up around 40W with the Kanthal cCells.

That Ultimo tank looks nice, and that coil head is HUGE! I still need to pick up a small pack of disposable coils for the MVape M1 Plus. Apparently, if you steal the bottom post part off of the disposable coil heads, you can swap it out with the bottom of the cCells and then run cCells in it. The problem is that you need that longer part to make it work.
Speaking of which... I now wonder if the cores that you linked for us will work in the RBA head for the M1 Plus... Hmmmmm...

Gotta watch out for the kawvee people -- if you see the bartender (kaezziel) pull up a stool the notcigs crew will be in trouble :)

I'll line 'em up, Brother... y'all knock 'em down. I'm off work in another half hour, then the rest of the bottle is MINE!

So, I can just drop this bad boy into my Melo RBA, insert insulator and contact pin, snip leads and I'm good to go??????? I don't need no stinkin' cotton or rayon or anything????

@markfm, et al.... this could be a :w00t: moment!!!!!
Sounds like they get a light cotton or rayon wrap? See Salem's post 10788 and kaz's reply to me in the kawvee thread.
