@LynnNC @DingerCPA I am not sure where you guys heard about the Vapmod coils but, I got it from a deal post and he too is using these same coils in his Melo 3 which takes the same coils as Melo 2. Just doesn't make any sense that you guys are having these issues. This was my original post in another place. It was copied from a deal thread.

I have a Melo 3 so that may be the problem. I got the 0.6 too. And if need be, I'll buy a Melo2 to use them. They're not too expensive at FT and I can also use my ECR coils in the 2.

Edited to add: Thanks for the info on what tanks these can be used in. I have a Vaporesso tank as well so I'll try them in that!

The original poster of the deal is using them in a Melo 3 though.
I have a friend using them in an iJust 2 and another using them in Starre Pro. They look to be made exactly like the Atlantis 2 coils which are also compatible with all of these tanks.

They had different resistance available. They had .2, .6 and NI200.

That is what I have as well. These coils are every bit as good as the .5 Atlantis V2 IMHO Maybe even better. I Hate that you and Dinger are having problems with them. So many of us are enjoying them. I have a Melo 3 mini. I will put one of mine in it tomorrow and see what happens. I can't imagine the Vape Deal guy saying that they worked so well in his Melo 3 if he had any issues though.

If you try another and get the same results, take the bottom pin off your Melo coil and swap it out with the vapmod coil. Several of us do this to make the cCells work in tanks when they don't make contact. I feel sure it will work the same in this case.

Myself and several others are using them in our Melo 2 tanks and they are fantastic IMHO Not a single leak reported. Did you have it screwed in to the base tightly? That is odd.

I am using the .6m ohm and really liking them alot. Had it installed in my Melo 2 on my Fuchai and in my pocket all day today. No issues at all. You are having some terrible luck lately with coils.

I have a Melo III. I'm going to try in the Atlantis.

I found the reference to these could here. I may just have a janky coil

I'll keep trying. They weren't too expensive to fiddle with, if I have to waste a few.

It's works LadyDinger! And since the coil I took the center pin out of isn't rebuilable I ain't losing nothing!

Or you could take the pin out of a used coil too

Update on my Real Flavors. I LOVE these! All it took was a few days steep and they lost that overly sweet taste that they had at the 24 hour mark. I mixed them all @ 5% and in just a few days time they are very good.

Well, there goes my theory that they should work in all Atlantis compatible tanks. Even if you have to swap pins to make them work in other tanks, they really are very good for flavor and vapor IMHO Of course I have no clue why yours would leak. Unless it was just a dud? Hoping that you try another coil and get better results.

My Therion DNA 75 is switching itself between tc and wattage mode, very odd. It hasn't changed the way it tastes, but I'm stumped as to why it's doing it. Anyone have any ideas?

I had my SMY switch into temp mode....I blamed pocket recalibration but really have no idea why....So far it's only happened than one time....Last night my D2 was keeping the screen illimenated 24/7....The D3 had fallen out of rotation so I swapped them out....Now the D3 is giving the same issue....Ain't that special....

I got this one Aunt who quiet frankly.....well.....if she goes tomorrow don't look for me at the funeral....She lives @ 100 miles down the street with her daughter....She's in the area for the weekend and staying with Unc....Last time that happened Unc told me she stole some pics....So....He let's her stay again?????? Anyways I know she calls Mom daily.....Since about Thursday I've felt the something's not quiet right feeling.....I barred her azz from staying with Mom and highly suspect she's stirring the pot as dang hard as she can seeking revenge....She best damn well hope I can't confirm my suspicions.....I'm doing about all I can around here and I prefer my sailing to be on calm seas.....

In other family news my Cuzz's son gets hitched next Saturday...Same day as the huge salvage auction right up the road....CONFLICT!!!!! I got a gig with the caterer at the rehearsal dinner though....Gonna give the happy couple my gift then.....Figured I'd buy them a tank of gas for the honeymoon.....Something like that anyways...Hoping their new life together is all they want it to be....As for me I'll keep on petting the dog.....The same dog who chased a fox into the woods just before dark....Don't tell him he's too little to do any damage....In his mind he's a baddazz Mfer.......
