Well i got my 4X4s set....angles cut....4X4s tied together with a 2X6...I just said the hell with the wood being off color....Maybe it will even out as it weathers...Still gotta round up 2 2X4s for the handrail....Dang rock walk has a curve that goes right on through the steps....That took some ciphering to get all laid out so it didn't look like sheet....I get some handrails and then just gotta do a little stone mason gig and finish that all up....

Going to see Mom earlier my dash lights didn't come on in the Ranger....add to that the park and brake lights all being dead.....Add some electrical black magic to my list of sheet to do...I swear just as soon as I can I'm out of the Ranger business....that sumbeech should be in better shape that a 2019 truck.....Is it????? FRIGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did something to my foot the other day....I'm thinking a rock musta bruised the bottom while out and about....It's feeling pretty good now....Elbow is feeling better as well....Earlier I was squeezing some lemon in my tea and it hit that nail I bent back last night....That caught my attention....After the hurricane and no power followed by the stroke and then needing handrails and not no lights on the Ranger....I gotta take Mom for a mid day appointment 50 miles up the street Thursday and gotta pick her from rehab on toppa that....Sheetfire....I've given up on getting caught up...I forgot about the 4 wheeler carb I got in a million pieces waiting on parts...I need a white flag.........

Bodhi's coffee of the week is Nicaragua Un Regalo de Dios, " Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate, Citrus.". No way I could pass that up :)

The offer's always open if anyone wants to try some of the beans I roast. I roast about every weekend, send some out to different people. I grind them, coarse for cold brew or French press, medium for drip, medium fine for Keurig adapter, etc.

Tracy and Bov, I will admit that I do not wear shoes to the bathroom in the middle of the night. That is the only time that I don't have them on my feet though.

LD, said it before. You have luck like my mine. When it rains, it pours. You have to find a way to take a breather for your own health though. You won't be any good to your mom or yourself when you give yourself a stroke. Seriously.

Okay, Mark. I can't take it anymore. Medium for drip please. Will PM you my info. You certainly are a generous soul. Thanks!

I was trying to check in earlier but, my oldest sister is here staying with me this week while she has work done on her house. Just did not get a chance.

@LynnNC I do hope that you will let us know how those flavors were once you tried them :)

Goodnight, all.

White flag....Mark, I'll try some medium fine for Keurig adapter please!!! Your roasts sound wonderful.

Passes white flag onto ElDee....rest some ya hear? We don't want anything happening to you.

I gotta thank Salem for all that wonderful info yesterday. I know it's early but I cannot believe how much better my feet are this morning compared to others!!!
I did those exercises off and on throughout the day, and put the triad orthotics into a pair of new (but cheap) boots as soon as I got them home.
My back (sciatica) was feeling some discomfort by last night so I figured it must be working some, as I read from others that it happens and not to give up.
I'm just so encouraged by how much better my feet feel already that you can bet I will continue. My back doesn't hurt upon waking up today either. (Thought sure it would last night)
Compression socks will be purchased, but I plan on using those orthotics and doing those exercises and can't thank you enough Salem! Hobbling around ouching is for the birds!!!
To work for me today so I gotta scoot. Have a great day everyone!!!!

Good morning, all.

Tracy, I forgot to mention that you are supposed to wear the orthotics for just a few hours a day at first if you are not used to wearing arch support. They will correct the way that you walk and you will get soreness in different areas until you adjust.

So glad that you are getting relief! I know only too well how excruciating the pain can be.

Morning folks :)

Another request for you to rest when you can, Dee! We know you hustle your azz off, but the last few weeks have been extra hard on you.

Mark, that salted caramel sure got my attention! I'd love to try it in a medium grind for drip brew...but ONLY if you didn't have too many requests for it. I don't want you to run short on it for yourself.

I'm gonna look for those shoe inserts today...so happy to hear you got some relief, Tracy! Thanks again, Salem!!

Well shoot! I've got them in those boots for at least 9-10 hours today bc I am already at work. Lol

When I was young (like between 7-10 yrs old) a bathroom door was stuck shut with humidity and when door was yanked open, it took my big toe nail with it!!!! All the pampering my mom did still lead to a nasty infection which needed to be surgical scissored off (while I was awake!) at the doctors office or hospital I can't remember which. Needless to say, I never forgot that needle or those scissors coming at me, and cannot stand anyone touching my feet. Period!
No pedicures for me thank you!!! I've had plenty of co workers (male Vietnamese nail techs) offering free pedicures but I always politely decline.
My point here is that I wasn't even exercising my feet properly bc of my phobia and fear of the dreaded foot/leg cramp that might ensue afterwards. No wonder that tendon was all out of whack!!!!

There's no rest for the wicked.....

I've not had a cold brew since the hurricane....I've got coffee but don't wanna burn that up since I'm not really sure when I can hit the Sam's....

1971 Duster was offered my way a couple days back....Pretty sweet car....price was in line....Hurst shifted 4-speed.....Even had the shark tooth grill....I almost did....then I reigned myself....then I almost did......Waiting on a 5 minute break to pay off my house and didn't wanna jump straight into another pool.....Ranger now requiring work as I'm pretty sure brake lights are required....Plan is to pay off the house and save for a Toyota Tacoma up to 2004....past that they get fugly IMO....I probably already have a million miles in Toyota 4X4s....Just where my comfort area is....There will be other Dusters....

Time to go pick some El Dee spec 2X4s for those frikken handrails.....Bet this....I get those rails nailed and glued I'm whipping out the old .... and taking my stress meds.....If you gotta cope with insanity better use a big gun.....KAHHBOOOMMMMMM!!!! What was I worried about????????????????????

LD, I think the Toyota truck that my sister bought last year is a Tacoma. It is a 2015 or 16 but, it looks pretty good. Now I am going to have to check and see if that's what it is when she gets back lol

Tracy, I am betting that you have high arches. Not giving them proper support is where the problems start. Another thing that I forgot to mention is to freeze a water bottle. Put it on the floor and roll the arch of your foot on it. The ice will help with the inflammation and it feels great too. :)
The cheap boots need to go in the trash lol

Lynn, I am SO glad that you like the flavors. Our tastes are so different that it is nerve wrecking to recommend a particular flavor as i know only too well what I like may not be the same for others. :thumb:

I will freeze a water bottle. Thanks for the info! Well it's over 12 hours now that I've had the triad orthotics in my cheap (but hella cute) boots.....and they feel pretty good. Will keep you posted!

I'm raising Cain with smy and ecig.com :) I love the sdna 75 form factor and operation, but suspect I have a failing board, intermittent, multiple, resistance change messages when I try to fire the device, with values that aren't close to my actual resistance.

Opened the box on the second SDNA, and that one had a badly glued magnet which came out first time I opened the battery door. 2 minute fix if they would just get me whatever glue they want me to use (if I don't already have it).

I reach out to ecig.com, am told they only cover the first 30 days, that I needed to go to smy. I send an email to smy in China with no response. I dig up the smy USA repair site, log a ticket with them and see their policy, written, clearly states the seller is responsible to set up warranty claims for 6 months.

Email to ecig.com, they offer me an 85% store credit. I respond back to them, with smy USA and evolv (since I do believe the first unit is a bad board), saying I expect everyone to get together and honor the warranty, I don't care how, I expect two fully functioning pv (and note I'd be happy to glue the silly magnet in) .

SMY repair center in the USA finally sends me something from a real person, saying "whoops", that he'll work it.

I do play nice, but won't be jerked around.

We'll see what happens, but I expect a positive result :D

Well, hell. You didn't tell me that they have fringe. That changes everything.

Good luck, mark. Do keep us posted. I have a few of those myself.
