Good morning all!

A bit of the wet stuff yesterday evening, a good soaker today. We're still officially in moderate drought, but I suspect some of that is based on how they factor things.

Mark I use epoxy for my magnets, others use red locktite. I use 5 min because i'm doing 4 magnets at a time. For 1 you could use 1 or 2 minute. If it is the door and you have another magnet, you can put it on the back to hold it in place. Otherwise, you need to hold it down as the magnet wants to rise from the glue pushing it up. I've had a magnet 10 thousands up and the door not completely shut. I use rubbing alcohol to clean it up.

We are still in severe drought. I can't even remember the last time we had rain. Don't want any for the next week though. My sister has a hole in her roof and it would be very nice if she could get a new roof put on before it does rain.

That sounds like a plan -- thanks for the hints. It's one of the 2 body-side magnets, upper one. I can put compression on it while drying with a rubber band or a small clamp.

I use Fusor epoxy.....A local company outta Garner, N.C. 3M bought them a few years back but still rolling as Fusor....Viscosity about like vasoline....Some other stuff I've used is kinda thin viscosity....I don't like that...

For holding things I've got an assortment of very small Vise Grip pliers....I also got biguns....When I see Vise Grips I like and don't have I buy them....Weld on a 1/4 panel and you're gonna need like 500 or so....

I dug some hella holes for those posts....Rain from the hurricane has the soil still damp...Still standing water in some spots.....

Got those rails up and sanded smooth on top....Try as I may I never did find El Dee spec 2X4s for the top...Gonna do the stone work today....I used a 2X2 to tamp the dirt around the posts as I went....next day it had settled as I'd drowned the area so I added dirt and tamped then when through for the day drowned again...They tight!!!! Should be finished this afternoon....Been shopping a small vacuum...Came across the DeWalt battery powered by 18 or 20 volt batteries....All my stuff is 18....Lowes has 6 months interest free over 299 spent so.....I'm gonna get the XR brushless series drill and 1/4 impact driver....20 volt and the best DeWalt offers...Then use the batteries in the vacuum as well....My 1/4 driver died a grisly death when it failed to operate....Someone who will remain un-named smashed it on the concrete and when the first smash didn't provide the needed result smashed it again....I still got a hella Bosch drill but the combo of the battery and DeWalt drill only adds 50 to the price of the driver alone and the drill is near 200 by itself.....I picked a bag of screws yesterday for the storage building roof at the beach so I needs a new 1/4 driver.....Now where's my stone mason cap....

Bosch is good stuff. That is where my sister worked for 38 years. She was a methods instructor there. She just retired last year. She has one helluva mechanical aptitude. Too bad that it does not run in the family lol

BTW- Her truck is indeed a 2015 Tacoma. It looks good IMHO

I lived in Moncks Corner years ago. Plus, the Cooper River was our old stomping grounds when we still had our boat. We would all sandbar hop lol Meaning that we would just pull up on sandbars and partay all day

Drove up the Cooper past the Shipyard, in to Charleston Harbor and over to the Ashley many times. Or, we could go through the lock and up to the lake. Used to be a lot of fun until the waterways just got too overcrowded.

Loved living there back when it was just a small beach town. Pre 1989 and Pre Hugo.

We used to water ski the Cooper. We lived on the Naval Weapon station up near Goose Creek.

For plantar i have a trick that works for the flare ups. Freeze a bottle of water and roll it under your foot. Helps a lot when i have the burning foot.

Dang vet bills are kicking my azz...Chase has another ear infection, the 2nd one in 6 weeks. Another $200 vet bill But I'll eat ramen noodles to take care of my baby.

This virus is kicking our butts. I've been sick over a week and the Dr today said probably another week. Now my wife is feeling the same. Coughing so much my chest is screaming. can't sleep so i finally went to the dr and got tomorrow off. 3 days of sleep if i can.
