Hi all!

Been staying bizzy.

Contractor came back today, got the new window properly sealed and the old bunkhouse front rooms nicely leveled. Vastly better than last week [emoji5]

I'll wait a few days, see if there's any quick settling, but it looks like a proper job. W have a very high water table, so extra support points are needed compared to places with firmer soil.

I got a call from my mom yesterday while I was at work that my favorite Uncle had a stroke and car accident.
Long story short, someone was looking out for him for sure. He's ok. Significant stroke which left him with some sight impairment on left side.

He's doing better today, thank god. If I'm MIA, you know why. He never had children but has always been close to me and another cousin of mine. So I will be there for whatever he needs.
Prayers and good thoughts appreciated. TIA

Best wishes for your uncle Tracy!

We're continuing cool and rainy - no drought [emoji2]

Rain mixed with boomers every couplehours, all day. Our running 30 day rain total is about 6". It's gonna be fun doing the deck extension at camp.

Wifely prerogative, now she wants another 16' added to our current raised deck, rather than a standalone on the ground - time for a new concrete mixer (old one got flooded this spring, probably a dead motor; I'll check one last thing (switch), but not worth much more time/$ to fix)

Mid 50s right now. The ducks are wearing rain coats.

Prayers for Unk 908 !!!!!!!

Did my good deed for the week and teamed up with Cuzzo to cut Unk's grass again yesterday....

Sold a pick up truck bed I had for my old Ranger...also sold a paint job on it along with the install....So I guess I'll be eating and vaping for the foreseeable future...Worked on cleaning my little boat the last couple of days....hasn't been on the water in near a year...Pre trip crank up revealed a gas leak so today I ordered 7 factory gas lines, a filter and new fuel pump...All the gas lines will be new and hopefully good for another 15 years....Yamaha parts guy tried to steer me to automotive gas line....Same inside dimension but X3 outside dimension....Neagtive.....Tis a shade tight under the hood of that engine and I wanted marine rated cause paddling sucks........

Unc is doing well now. Thank you for all your well wishes and prayers.

He was doing yard work and on his way to the dump with clippings when he lost vision in his left eye, and completely forgot where he was or what he was doing. (He's 67) He clipped (side swiped) a van driven by an even older man. He was able to give his insurance info to the gentleman and told he felt really strange and could not see out of his left eye. The man told him he'd better get right to a doctor or hospital.
For the life of me I don't know how, but he managed to drive his truck back to his house and told the neighbor what happened. Neighbor took him to hospital.

Long story short, his blood is too thick and caused the stroke. He had an a fib episode while in Hosp the second night. Cardiologist says he has atrium flutter and heart either beats fast or slow, no middle ground. He will be on blood thinner and two other meds probably for life. He passed stress test on Thursday and was released with orders to follow up with primary (most of my family dislike docs and he doesn't even have one yet, or didn't as of Thursday) and see an eye doctor.

He lives about a half an hour away from me but you best believe I'll be checking in on him!

His truck should be finished tomorrow. Bo has had it at work since Tuesday. I can't wait to see it! He's doing the work (with bosses approval) and I'm paying materials and a side mirror and more than happy to do so. He's the BEST!
