Finally got my gravel delivery @5pm yesterday....I hopped on the tractor and got it spread....Driveway and septic drain field area are finished...Got a job coming into the shop in a day or three so just idling until then...Tropical Storm Alberto has arrived....Hoping the rain doesn't wash the fill over the septic drain field before the grass seed sprouts....I got it blanketed with wheat straw so hoping it will hold...Monsoons are inevitable though....

Hitting the Vita Cost tonight ahead of Tuesday shipping....Been investigating Argan Oil...Many things it does and I'm getting a 2 oz. bottle....We'll see....Serrapeptase I talked about before I'm getting a years supply....The Serrapeptase has given me relief from bad sinuses after everything else failed....Been letting the hair grow back out some and looking at an Organ/Hemp Oil combo shampoo and conditioner....trying to avoid tangle city and if I can't ........haircut!!!!

The pulse 80w firmware update came out, versions for both Windows and Mac.

A painless install app.

I'm a happy camper having the +/- button lock function (no more accidental power changes). They also have power boost, ability to get rid of modes you don't want, ability to customize how fast the mod goes to sleep, ability to recheck resistance without removing and replacing the rda, and more.

Thanks for the video Mark.....My order came in today and I've been playing with the Pulse/DR...First coil I had a little low to the deck....Not sure the wraps I just wrapped plenty and pulled them off until the legs went into the posts....3mm coil with some pretty stout fused Clapton kanthal....It's all working good....Now if I can come to terms with that damn squint fill bottle....Got the Lost Vape and it really doesn't like making connection with the Pulse.....Whipped out the Geek flask and it connects no problem...Still I haven't been able to get it working....I'm off to the Tube to watch another fill video....Software is fine for the time being though I will update...

Quick and dirty 510 refill (I use the LV bottle).

-Turn the mod upside down (510 pointed down).

-Squeeze the mod squonk bottle a bit to force some excess air out. Attach the 510 refill bottle while it is still squeezed.

-Flip to right side up, then squeeze the refill bottle to force liquid back into the squonk bottle

-Flip to upside down, squeeze the squonk bottle to push a bit of air into the 510 refill bottle.

-Repeat the above two steps one or two times to top off the squonk bottle

-When done, with the mod right side up, detach the 510 refill bottle

-Reattach RDA


After a couple times it goes quite fast. Key for me was the bit about squeezing a bit of air out of the squonk bottle to start things off. I'll get a couple drips out of it (emptying the inner silicone feed tube before the air comes out), but it's otherwise clean.

The firmware update is nice. I'm using the +/- lock feature, the ramp-up power boost (130% power for the first half second [both parameters can be changed]), and have cut my ST (sleep time) to 5 minutes (Better battery life. While vaping I tend to hit it multiple times, then put the mod aside for a little bit.)

I watched another fill video last night...Had better luck filling and actually got it full....Ordered some spare bottles and gonna change from the black to the white as to better see the fill level...DR quit firing when I rode over too Cuzzo's to show him the rig....I loosened the fire pin....got fire....got leakage....tightened it back likely tighter than it was and maintained fire and lost leak....Beats me but it's firing and I'm hitting it...Pulse 510 connecter leaves a little to be desired IMO....Other than that it's all good....My Lost Vape bottle will not make connection with the Pulse....The Geek Vape has no issue

Monsoons the last couple of days....I 40 closed last night with cars trapped near Black Mountain due to mudslide....big evacuation due to expected dam failure at Lake Texoma???? on the Cawtaba River....the dam is still holding last I heard....Lucky for me Unk had a bale of wheat straw that I spread over my grass seed...So far no wash out and the seeds are germinating....Gonna try and sneak a wash for my tractor today....It's mighty dark out though.......

On the connector, I've had no issues, though my normal setup is with a lanyard. I'm using an automatic (hole in the middle) 510 ego adapter, from Wharf, which works great for squonking with a lanyard.

I tweaked the lanyard. The part that goes around the adapter is a thin metal ring from fasttech, and it then goes to a little SS split ring from Amazon. This way I get no abrasion of the lanyard string, for rda up to 25mm.

Hey everyone !!!.... Between work, CRM software upgrade training and the playoffs, I've been frazzled.... In this last year I've gone from Kanthal A to SS316 to Nichrome80, almost all predicated on the desired wraps for Ω.... Dee a kind coffee roaster gifted me a Pluse24 BF. Let me know if you'd like it as it's been sitting longer than it should.
I've been using NicSalts almost half the time.
I have the Suorin Air and I resurrected my Kayfun Lite. The Air is a stiff draw much like the early 510 cartos and I take a nice slow long draw. I think if I used it all day, it would be less than 4mls at 40mg. The KFL I had to drop to 30mg and it's a fairly slow draw as well. I probably using them 40% of the time.

We stopped by camp for a couple hours, caught up on mowing and deck staining. Sitting by the lake there was a beautiful breeze blowing (steady 10mph). The wind was out of the south, and we're on the north shore.

I watched a video or two before using the squint refill bottle....It's working wonderfully now...I barely touched the squonk bottle without the fill bottle attached and the juice was coming out pretty good so I quit that....Thinking my problems were a refill bottle that was to full leaving not much room for the air and I had my flips backwards...8 MLs of juice doesn't last nearly as long as one would think....I also installed the 8 ML bulb Pyrex onto my Big Baby Beasts/Oceanus....More than happy with the results with both the Pulse/DR and the added juice in the BBB......I remember in the early days a thread where we compared MLs per day...Thinking I was around 7 MLs and then that was pretty high....You all know where I'm going with this.......

Monsoons continue...High pressure centered off the Ga./SC Coast is funneling Gulf moisture and the remnants of Alberto into the area....I got sheet to do but will take all the rain I can get....Last week I saw all the rain on the way and doubled down getting those grass seeds deployed....There is a nice, thick, green lawn appearing...I got the old sprinkler fine tuned with a new head waiting to keep it wet if and when the rain stops.......The sprinkler is one I've had for years and is about 7 feet in height....Ran that beech over when spreading gravel...that's the reason for the new head.....
