Hey All... I had a great time with Bert and Beata. Freddy (Bert's partner) came over Saturday night. It's been 4 years since I saw Bert and 5 years for Freddy and just had a blast.....
Torch Boy I am not. The first marble's implosion ended up sideways. The second didn't have enough enough color. I blew a lavender and amber bubble for Ms Wharf. We have a young couple here that are having a baby any day. Bert made this amazing Heart for the mom-to-be. It's a red and white and the inscription was "My Son... My Heart".
I gave it the the dad-to-be yesterday...... and forgot to take pictures first.

I don't remember if I did, but either way....... Happy Birthday to Fran and Debi

5 I pulled for the Hawks tonight !!!

Finally there was a check in the mailbox....Opened it and found it was for the chest of drawers the adjustor left off....Left a very firm message for my agent to call before the end of the day...He did....No answer as to why the check hasn't arrived but he said he would get it handled....Agent told Sis to make a list of lost food and adjustor left that off due to the fact he was writing for wind damage and he couldn't prove wind caused the power outage....Trust I'll not forget to bring up that food when the agent calls back....My line of thinking is I should have been paid weeks back....Every dang time anyone else is included in my activities it seems they fekk everything up....Seems anymore the worse you handle your duties the farther up you rise....

Thank you, Wharf! What a great gift for your parents to be friends! Glad you had a wonderful time :)

What a major pain, Dee. It's not like you haven't paid into the insurance game for all these years.

Fran and Mark, I hope Mother Nature goes easy on yall!

Hubs had appointment with his cancer dr this morning. He was sure the cancer had spread to his kidney because of the pain in his side. Dr says no.Wrong place for kidney pain.Says the pain is being caused by a crack in his pelvis that was found on an earlier xray. Never mentioned at the time because he had no pain.

I would imagine a cracked pelvis would cause some pain...Hope Hubs feels better soon !!!

Stuck in a traffic jam earlier this dawned on me....I was passing a convenience store and thought how long it's been since I've been in one....back in the Marlboro Light days hardly a day passed when I didn't visit a convenience store....Every one in a several county area....I've been in it....Don't miss that so much....Now about that coating of VG on the windshield....I gotta drag the windex out tomorrow...

Spent the last couple of days shopping for essentials....I got a 3 brick Mr. Heater wall/floor mount propane heater with a auto blower that works in conjunction with the thermostat and heat....I'm gonna run it ahead of my gas logs as I believe it gets better MPGs and can be more centrally located in the house...That way when the LP runs out on one heat source I can pick and choose when I hook another tank up.....no more 3am 20 degrees BS with a flashlight in my teeth and no clothes to speak of....Still gotta score a new tank and I'm gonna go with the real deal stainless pipe....With the rain we've had the past couple of months everything is squishy at best outside...Needing shoes more fit for the situation I found a pair of Columbias at 40% off....I actually liked the feel better than the ones not on sale....Scored some new pods for the Keurig and a potato ricer while I was at it....and....I have no intention of ever ricing any potatoes....I don't eat them....Gotta start wading into the heater install tomorrow....Some leaf cleanup and cooking also on tap....Hoping for warmth with the heater and shoes....My damn feet have been wet and freezing all week...Also scored a North Face beanie boggin that actually fits my head...it's somewhere around 8 and 1/8th....I've never had North Face or Columbia anything but I've certainly seen the labels plenty...Hoping because it's quality stuff....

Fran my Prayers for Hubs <3

We are a chocolate mess here. My niece lives in SF and had to work from home form the smoke. Yesterday was really bad and we are 280 miles away..... We are in a natural 3 sided bowl. The wind comes in through the bay area and is pushed our way. They used to fine us for pollution until they realized it was coming from the bay area.
My nephew almost got caught in the Malibu fire coming home from work. Then my lil sis was evacuated for 2 days.

Just watched a little news and saw the California fires...Stay safe Wharf !!! I would assume the fires are due mostly too drought....I opened the access to under the house earlier looking for where I could snake the new propane line.....dang water standing under the house....Like I needed that....California is on fire and you couldn't light Carolina with a blowtorch....I've never seen it this wet...Gonna be a good while before I can get that line in and if there's more rain....well????? The forecast is in my favor at this point....Gonna head too Wally Wurld and snag an oil filter and oil for the Taco....Gotta start hitting the beach and working there....needing some fresh oil before I hit the interstate.....

We ended up with about 14" of wet snow (heavy), based on the pack on our cars. The snow thrower took care of it when I had an opening from work, though I really need to change the oil and lube some parts.

North Face does make good gear. I picked up a pair of their heavy winter mitts a couple years back, they've worked flawlessly (snow blowing and shoveling when it's sub zero calls for the right clothes).

I've been an xtar charger user since 2011, but couldn't resist ordering a nitecore ums2 from battery junction. It just looks sweet. I had to order a QC USB charger to go with it, but Amazon's deal of the day today is an Aukey QC 3.0 2 port charger [emoji3]

On the rda front, a Pulse v2 is coming out. I like how they have different ultem airflow inserts, including one specifically for single coil users. Myvpro has them on preorder, and you can get a10% discount using their preorder code or playing the spin the wheel game. A stainless steel with green driptip has my name on it [emoji3]

Day to day, I've been staying with the vapefly galaxies mtl rdta, in squonk configuration. Great flavor, leak free, running a 0.38 ohm coil at 34 watts.

    Stay safe Wharf!

Damn Dee! Hope you catch break from the rain.

Spent the day buttoning up that plumbing access hole in the bathroom yesterday. Weatherstripping front and back doors done as well. Wishing I could afford new windows, but that's out of the question, so picked up some window plastic insulation kits that I still need to get put up. That's why I was at Lowes the other day when the side of my car got scraped up from an unknown azzhat.

Sure glad I don't have your snow to deal with, Mark!

I went Nitecore with my chargers....Q6 6 bay....simple red or green light....holds 6 21700s with no issue...Got a couple of Oceanus Mods that will show dead battery with a full charge...Cut off and back on and they show full charge and work until they quirk out again...Gonna have to be replaced and I'm gonna go 21700 all the way...

Debating heading too the Home Depot and getting a Wayne Water Bug pump to remove the water from under the house....Nothing fancy but it reviews well....I hit the Wally's and got my oil and stuff...Gonna get that in the Taco and clean my grill as it looks like a gunked up coil inside.....Blew off the shop roof yesterday while I burned pork chops and I gotta rake that sheet up as well...Gotta get up in the loft of the shop and see if I can determine where the leak is....It's not visible from the top and I need to patch it to buy time while I work on the trailer floor at the beach....Plus roofing in the winter sounds rather unappealing to me....It would also please me should my insurance send me that damn check....
