Congrats on your upcoming Anniversary, Tracy and Bo!!

Thank you all for the "get better" wishes! I was much better today, mowed the yard...or what's left of it because I'm too cheap to water the grass. I have been watering my plants tho! Here's a pic of the arbor I put up on the single gate, with my planters of morning glories and moon flowers. They are growing fast and already starting to twine around the fence and arbor :)

Bella and I both love having the back yard fenced! So glad I decided to get it done :)

Over did things a bit yesterday, and I'm paying for it today. Damn...we sure don't bounce back like we did when we were younger
    Tell me about it............

We stayed in the 50s today, brisk for early June.

I'm having to delay my open water certifications scheduled for fathers day weekend. Lake Ontario is a mess, both of the sites we use for certs are flooded, and the water temp is only 52f; not safe for people just learning to dive.

We're cool here....I've no idea what the high today was though...66* at 11:30pm

Got the flooring for the beach today....It's vinyl laminate in 6X48 planks....clicks together....Looks pretty good to me and supposedly really durable....The other day at the beach Lowes was running a $10 coupon with any purchase...I went three times then and today made three purchases and burned up the $30 coupons...Worked like a charm....Now to get that flooring down there and ready for installation....

Way to go working those coupons, Dee! I've been known to juggle a few that way, too

Thank goodness I have Medicaid! I just discovered that one of my Diabetes meds, Januvia retails for $550 for a month's supply

My blown out hip is improving, but not fast enough for me. I started back to my walking, adding a half a mile every other day. Today I did 3 miles...but it was a bit too much. My hip was screaming for about the last half mile. It's looking like another Flexaril day. Slow and steady she goes!

It was cool but nice earlier in the day, so DW and I went to out camp for a few hours and I did some work prepping to install gutters. Tomorrow is rainy, but we're looking at good weather Thursday through Sunday, I'll try to take some more time off.

We are finally getting some much needed rain. With all the flooding and storms west of us, we hadn't had any rain in a month.

I am fortunate enough to live in a good, low crime neighborhood, but this week I got an unwelcome surprise. There is a duplex on my north side, and living in the front side is a very nice couple...very friendly, both work long hours. When I mow my yard, I try to mow theirs as well since both our yards are small.

On the back side is a couple who have been not so friendly, repeatedly calling the police accusing the front couple of smoking green...which is not true. Back neighbors have an issue with front neighbors because they are an interracial lesbian couple. Well Monday, Karma came to visit. Back neighbor husband was arrested (3rd offense) for exposing himself to a woman out in her yard sun bathing...while he was on duty and in his UPS uniform!! Hopefully he'll pull down some time for it after getting nothing but probation for his first 2 offenses last August and again in Sept.

I don't care for perverts much....ratting out the lesbian couple and lying about it.....Don't care much for that either....

Most dangerous city in the USofA.....Myrtle Beach, SC......Yeah I was a little surprised....Lumberton, NC came in at #3.....So #1 and #3 are within 125 miles of home....that's nice

We,ve had a couple of showers....enough that I lit a big old pile of yard waste last evening and cut the grass today.....Got all the flooring delivered down to the beach a couple days back and cut the grass there as well...Now I gotta glue in the toilet flange I removed for the flooring and touch up sand a couple spots on the floor I didn't replace....Slightly raised spots where the bed legs sat....I suspect we had a dog that was using those legs on the regular....No big deal though....I get the floor touched up a shade and I'm laying those vinyl laminate planks....Looks like quality stuff....We'll see how it goes but according to the U Tube everything should be a winner.....
