) are able to find VERY productive cheap players.I get to talk Football my team is at home.
Goldie that's why we're called Fan-atics.
5er only Baseball gets to "buy" a team anymore. Football and Basketball have salary caps. They all have high priced players, the great teams, including the two playing, (and you know how much I hate to say that) are able to find VERY productive cheap players.
Buy, purchase, they both have the same meaning.LOL you are a funny boy 5er... I didn't say you can't purchase a team... I said you can't buy a team. The Yankees would try to sign *buy* all the best players and spend twice as much as other teams to do it. The Dodgers payroll was $240 mil last year and the A's was $74 mil.
This year the NFL cap was $133 and there is about a $20 mil spread between largest and smallest payrolls.
So even with Paul's Billions.... he can't spend a billion on players.
And I am sorry I caused you to lie.
Awe, that was sweet of you, 5C. I really don't care if you guys talk about football though. I just have never been the competitive type I guess. DH gets just as mad watching some of these Sports shows about the different games. I always ask him why the heck he watches something that makes him so mad lol.

I realize that Mr Wharf but with an intelligent coach and deal makers, like we have, makes deals on draft picks down the road and end up with a better team. Oh and don't think money isn't made in deals. Then there's teams to pay incentives and benefits to obtain players from other teams when their contracts are up. Money is the one thing you can't control. The only way to control it is to have a sport without financial benefits. A person would have to be pretty naive to not see money driving this business like it does all "Professional" sports. One last point, It would be called football if it wasn't about money instead of professional football.
