I agree with Wharf.....It's just stuff...

I carved out a wooden coil building jig about six months back....I tripped into the local B&M today and dang if Tobeco hasn't cloned my little block of wood....They used aluminum though and there are 5 or 6 pins for different coils...Yeah I bought one....more stuff...I also grabbed another Custard....Space Jam's Custard and Guava I think....maybe Kiwi...Seems that most of the store bought juices have a azz load of flavorings in them...I stopped in hoping too spy the E Grip and that was a no go...So much for that...

So yeah I had that bottle of juice in the back also...I cut from 24~18~12 and was on 12 when I filled up with 24...I gave about 75MLs away the next day...Nic sic I was....

Mom too the hearing aide tomorrow at 9:30....Once again assisted by my lovely Auntie Gaynelle...I got blood that ain't family and family that ain't blood....Auntie G has always been close...Maybe I can rerun that trip too Raleigh tomorrow...Today left me one stop short in accomplishing my goals...Duty called and I had to fly...Paid now and resting...The paid part allows for much better resting..Now about that damn thermometer....

Hi guys,
just saw this thread and it is a bit sad but was inevitable. Well the way I was looking at it.

Old Buzz was really onto it all once but things move really fast and it would be quite hard to keep up, I would imagine.

I used to check in every day for years but it seemed that not much happened, so I dwindled. Sorry about that, but things move and sadly in a way I drift with that movement.

But I just want to say, It has been a really pleasurable experience knowing you all and especially Old Buzzkill (Mike).

Morning all :)

RC, how wonderful to see you here!! I still talk to Mike from time to time, he's doing well and focusing a lot of his time on his music.

Nic sick I was, Dee...it was amusing but weirdly comforting to know that just that small decrease makes a difference!

Stuff, I'm also grateful to have discovered over the last few years that stuff does not = necessity for me! I love stuff, but I also love learning the lesson that stuff is a side dish in my life. The necessities are in the hearts of friends

Tracy, I vaped at 18 mg, from day 1 to about 3 years later. Actually, I haven't noticed any changes, but to be fair, I have had a partial denture for many years, thanks to a baseball accident and the denture affects my sense of taste. I had no problems, when I moved down in my nic content. Even now, I still have some 9 mg juice left and I can switch back and forth, from 9 to 6, without noticing any difference.

That's a pretty decent step difference Tracy, just keep that in mind in case you start getting cravings. I think you've been off the cigs long enough not to crave them, but you may notice wanting to vape a lot more. I'm confident that you'll handle it just fine :) Stepping 2mg at a time has been fine for me, but I'm rarely without my PV in my hand!

When I bought my first kit it came with 24mg and I knew within an hour that it was too much for me. Ordered some 18mg and it was still too high, so I got some 14 and was happy with that for about 2 years. Stepped down to 12mg (remember I was still having about 3-5 cigs a day then) but when I decided to finally get smoke free, I stepped back up to 14mg as a precaution. Stayed there for about a month or 2, the cut to 12mg, and now 10mg.

I'm proud of every single one of us!! We've slayed a big dragon, and I know I couldn't have done it without good equipment and the encouragement from every single one of you

Bov, I never planned on quiting smoking, e-cigs were going to just help me cut down on my smoking. Two months later, the cigs went into the trash, a 46 year habit, gone away for good.

If any ANTZ read this, yes, I quit smoking, using e-cigarettes. Of course, we all know that e-cigs haven't helped anyone to quit smoking, or so says your kind. :p

On the nic and flavor...I'd say higher nic juices would have more of a bite or throat hit...Yes there is more flavor with less nic...While the nic likely doesn't effect coil life flavor certainly does..Some flavors gunk a coil a lot faster than others...that said when I lowered too 8mg I also lowered flavor percentage and usually shoot for 10~12% flavor....In flavors defense the dragon's Blood is a 20% flavor juice and it seems to be on par with the 10% flavor juices as far as coil gunk time...and yeah I got 240mls of the DB that's been steeping for over a month....

The Green Wick finally showed today along with the poly K Fun nano kits....I promptly threw the glass nano into the trash...filling it was pure hades...The GW is from a lab in California and claimed too be from a little Japanese organic farm....The good news is it's a direct replacement for the Wally Wurld yarn and fits the 5/64ths coil great...The coil could likely decrease just a tad as the GW was just a little smaller in diameter but so far it's nirvana...I set up with the old tried and true poly nano kit and added the GW too the month old coil...From the jump the taste was cleaner and it hasn't hinted at a dry hit...There is no boiling required....just snip and stuff then puff!!!! I'm digging some Green Wick...

I hit the State surplus today and snagged a three shelf A/V cart...My plans are too roll it beside the car I'm working on and use it as a work table...hold the bolts and tools...They had some nice wooden desks for 10 and 15 bucks...Thinking I may ride back and snag one of those...They were made in the furniture capital of the world....High Point, NC...They got some age but are pretty high quality with some dang nice drawers...I can stuff my stuff in those drawers!!!!

Glad you're loving the GW, Dee! I love old surplus and junk stores. I used to have a big old monster school teacher desk that I used as my computer desk...loved that thing! Was a fun refinishing job and made a great place for stuffing my stuff ;)

Jerry, I didn't take up vaping with the intent to quit smoking either. We had just signed a 1 year lease when we first moved up here from Fl. and it was a smoking building...management knew we both smoked. Second month into our lease we got a warning letter from management telling us that neighboring apartments were "complaining" about smelling our cigarette smoke, and if we didn't stop smoking in our apt we would be evicted!! I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that we paid the whole year lease up front...12 months rent, deposit, and pet deposit to the tune of almost $17,000! Had they pursued it, we'd have had to hire a lawyer, but we'd have won the case. It was easier to vape inside, maybe smoke once in awhile in the bathroom with the exhaust fan running.

Maybe that was part of why it took me so long to completely quit the cigs, but for as crappy as that situation went down, I'm grateful that it introduced me to vaping :)

Fran, I'm in no huge hurry to keep reducing my nic, but I will go lower than 10mg to save on the money I spend for nic.

That was a lot of bull, Bov, neighboring apartments complaining about smelling smoke. I spent the first 6 years of my life, living at my grandparents house. It was a triple decker, all family, we lived on the second floor and my grandparents lived on the first floor. My grandfather was a cigar smoker and his apartment reeked of cigar smoke, but we didn't smell a thing on the second floor.

Truthfully, this anti-smoking bull.....has reached the point of oppression, the majority persecuting the minority. Sound familiar?
