The mandrels I use for micro coils are 2mm,,,,5/64ths or .076 they are all very close in size and will work....Off too the piano store with my calipers here in a moment....All this for a coil?????

On the wicks....Chaddos is great and all that...The Ready X Green Wick is great as well....I really saw no difference in either...GW is snip and stuff though,,,,easier and consistent...it also swells up more with use....Not sure if that is good or bad but with two built mods in action I ran it well over a week with no problems...and it fits the sizes at the top perfectly.....

Vape mail for me today. The new Nauty BVC heads look like they will be a good improvement with the bigger juice feed holes, the cotton is an added bonus. I don't need to change the old one I'm using yet tho.

Laundry day...how much dang laundry can one person generate? Geez, I take a bath every Sat night whether I need one or not!

The city had a front end loader and dump trucks out in our hood today, removing piles of snow the plows had pushed up against the street corners. I tried to show a little leg and get 'em to scoop away some of our mountain, but it didn't help. I think the bear hair winter legs scared them

Hope you got vape mail today, Dee!

Hey Bov!

Gratz on the vape mail! I hope that the BVC's (BVCCs?) are all that you anticipate and a big bag of chips, too!

And I hope you have a happy surprise in your mailbox, as well, Dee... your adventures in coiling intrigue me but I am thinking I am going to watch this one from afar ;)

@TT, there's a pigeon heading your way with the $3 you asked for. From the sounds of y'all's USPS stories, I thought that service may be the fastest and safest way to get it to you.

I forgot to sign the card but you'll know it's from me, just listen--she coos with a drawl

@Wharf, hoping you like the Lemon Menthol or any one of it's various incarnations. If you create a different incarnation that you enjoy, share please and thanks!

One more thing, kinda a big thing, really.

I have noticed a problem with my iStick today :( Twice, while driving, I took a short draw, released the power button and it kept on firing and firing and firing... not sure for how long but the second time seemed like forever.

I had to remove the KSM to get it to quit. Needless to say, the cotton was a crispy critter and I am not too happy and a little concerned.

I jiggled the button--it didn't feel to be stuck??

AND I had to power it off to get it to work again...

Any of y'all experienced the same or read of it somewhere? I am off to go look but I thought I'd share with my refugee peeps and get their take on it... thanks!

Sorry about the snowpiles remaining Bov. I"m sure you didn't scare anybody (lol), in our town they are given strict instructions NOT to remove snow piles until they are instructed to do exactly so. I even have a cousin's kid on the crew and even he can't help out his blood. I've already tried! Plthhhhhhhhh!~

Pokey, I have not had that happen with my 50w, but I have with my 20w. Not to the point that it ruins wicks, thank goodness, but it definitely sticks. In my case, the button sticks on the upper end and when it happens I just slide down on it a bit. Bummer to hear that they are tricky on the 50s as well.
Your lemon mix sounded so good girl, I ordered some Lemon sicily pronto!!! Do you basically start it out by mixing the lemon at 8% solo, then add those different drops per tank to get the cookie, strawberry etc for the day? Do tell....it sounded great!

Woo hoo ElDee, I saw on FB that you got your goodies!!! Well, at least some of them. I hope it kicks azz!!!

Thanks for sending that pidgon with the three dollars Pokey!!

I've been thinking about saving up for a Face Lift like some women that work in the in the movies get.

The thing that made me think of that was the time Cuz Wuzz and I were at a family reunion and Cuzz Wuzz asked some woman if she knew TT was there. The lady said "no, I didn't know that, but I've heard a lot about him. Where is he??"

So Cuzz Wuzz pointed at me and that daggone woman said .... "Oh, so that's him? I thought that was somebody's purse!"

I decided right then and there that I needed a face lift.

Yikes! I have recently heard of a few issues with the i50s :( Sorry that yours is having an issue but, you should contact RMV. They do have a 30 day warranty and I just happened to notice that red is in stock.

8-o

I haven't had any problems so far, and the only thing I've run on mine is the KSM. Definitely reach out to the vendor while you're still under warranty!

Tracy, we're not supposed to throw snow out into the street, but on these warm-ish days I do it anyway. We have a storm drain across the street from us, so I toss shovels full in that general direction to whittle down the mountains on each side end of the driveway. It's nice to be able to see if anyone is coming before I back out into the street ;)

I've got the Goblin in my hands....It looks to be well built...airflow control and build deck look pretty good....Also got the Temco 29 gauge.....

Gonna try and get my coil winder sorted out before I throw any more coils out......

Automotive batteries these days are for sheet....New in September and dead in March.....I had to jump the Ranger and head to the parts house for a new one....I suggested due to the situation it would be gracious to upgrade to the next level....a battery costing $40 more....It's in the truck...Still tho.............

Pokey....If the switch sticks again....Throw it!!!!!!!!!!! I remember sitting in the car one evening waiting on someone...I lit a Marlboro Light and the whole top of the Bic lighter just fell too sheet...butane coming out on high....flaming like a torch...I chunked that beech !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far my I Stick switches are operating great....for that I am glad cause I will fix it for good if it sticks....

No worries, Bov. The ones that work, work great. I have only heard of a few people having issues. It is funny because I have had 6 of the 20s, 1 of the 30s and 1 of the 50s. never a single issue with any of them. Normally not my luck.

I am pretty sure that Rimp and I were the first in the US to get our hands on the 20s. Mine is still working flawlessly.

Ok I read through the entire Tensioned Micro Coil thread....

Everything I learned leads me to believe a coil built under tension will be worth the effort...As it stands my hand wound on a Coil Master coils look and perform pretty dang skippy....

I saw the coilers others had made....I bought the jig they used....Still I debated the build of the jig...So I kept looking.....I'd seen a coiler that used a drill chuck to hold the mandrel....Most appealing about the chuck model was the rigid mount of the mandrel....no flex as I suspected the jig others had used had....it's basically a small drill chuck on a shaft with a hand crank handle....super advantage to the El Dee model....quick change mandrels!!! any dang size coil you want...So tomorrow I return the jig I already have...I ordered the chuck model....I also quit trying to make one of my fishing reels work and ordered a fly reel....Total cost should remain @$55 Buckaroos...All I'll have to do is line the reel and chuck up on a base and secure them....

So a pill head saw my Goblin pic on the FB....I saw my phone blowing up with notifications but I was out handling business and not FBing on the phone....That bass turd messaged me 7/8 times trying to sell an Atlantis for $40....Hey I got a Goblin....You know??? Word drifted to me about this cat's current condition weeks back....He's harmless....well not harmless to his Mom and Dad's bank account....Typical 30 year old still at Mom's....Priceless....He needs his eye dotted...but whatever....Tejas is a chic magnet!!!!!!!!!! If Yeast is close too Baytown I'd have my retired azz on over there when the NHRA hits town...cause I've been too Baytown !!!!!!!!
