Sorry to hear about the water again this year Bov.

That's almost an annual event isn't it?

Thanks, yep always in the spring thaw, and usually once or twice more throughout the year if we get a wet summer and fall. We're in a high water table area and all the neighbors have basement issues. They all have sump pumps tho. Katie is not well known for her wise choices when it comes to home repair, and the water problem is one she refuses to have fixed. There are some cracks in the basement floor now, and water perks up thru them, as well as several spots along the cove joints, even around the sewer clean out drains where the concrete seals around them. The furnace and water heater are elevated on blocks, so no worry there. The whole basement doesn't flood, but it's not uncommon for me to slurp up 10 gallons in a 1 hour period with the shop vac when it's bad.

Great story about the Lane's, Dee :)

Wuzz as a matter of fact I've seen the sign....I also ventured across the street!!! A little smoke break.....that's an old and creepy cemetery...It was from the sidewalk in front of the BH where I first laid eyes on Hurricane Hugo....On my honeymoon in 89....We cleared out too Santee Cooper...Then we cleared outta there too home just outside Ocean Isle Beach....Finally Hugo chased us too Fayetteville...I was sick and tired of Hugo by the time it passed...Hugo made landfall at Isle of Palms S.C.....cut a trail straight too Santee.....then right on up between Fayetteville and Charlotte...Spared our cabin at Santee but many others nearby weren't as fortunate....

Finally I've got all the goods I ordered....American Shifter has obviously never heard of tracking...They've heard of expensive azz shipping though...I'm sure shifter bling will be on a FB page near you soon...

Thinking I need some Cherry Vape friction fit tips....Yepp....and maybe a Vapor Shark.....I gotta research that a little first though...Maybe see if this Goblin is the HellRaiser I expect it to be as well...I think they would make a killer azz kombo...and yes....I know there should be a c starting kombo....tis El Deebonics

Full out living by your wits and scoring jobs and cash on the fly will worry the sheet outta the most hardened Heathen....Today was an epic one....there will be no worries for the foreseeable future...Still the hustle will continue......

Warren and Billy at that time were struggling at their new shop Choppers Inc....Then when at the top Billy caught six years...He got out last year and moved the shop too Daytona....Lost his driver's liscense for life...but hey....deserved to...I didn't make much money on those wheels...actually with the time I spent rounding them up I lost...I do know the Lane brothers though and that's priceless...

Good morning to you FranC!! And it looks like Cuz Wuzz is up too. Good morning my Cuz!

And good morning to you stragglers too! Some childrens people never want to get out of that bed!!

Hey Bro El Dee, I use those friction fit drip tips on anything I take out of the house. The danged things stay put!! Salem might know of someplace where you can get them cheaper than Cherry Vapes.

LOL, back in my bike riding days I don't think I ever got to meet anyone famous like you have. If I did, I didn't know it.

Its a pity we only get one crack at this life. There's still a lot of things I'd like to do. Just walking around looking at bikes like Cuz Wuzz was talking about would be wonderful! Sadly, with my old knees if I can't do it on one of my 4Wheelers its probably not going to happen.

Oh well, I can still smile at pretty girls. :)

And you make plenty of pretty girls smile too TT!

Good morning everyone!
I changed my days at work again, not bc I wanted to, but felt I needed to. I will now work mon, wed, fri with thurs as a possiblity when needed. Just wanted you to know so you don't wonder why I'm quiet those days. :)

That Sambucus stuff seemed to work out pretty well, as I only felt a little off that one day and never got the full blown bug like my coworker had. She was down for the count off and on for a week. No thanks!

Bov you know I ran to FT and ordered 3of those pretty girly DTs BEFORE you posted that link. ;) hey, a girl can never have too many "pretties!" And they are gorgeous! My first go round with glass though. Eek.

Big thanks to Pokey and Salem for sharing some great DIY recipes! Love those and can't wait to try some out.

Cooler here today, after a solid day of rain. Tomorrow should be nice, but I'll be at work.

ElDee, I look forward to your thoughts as always, on all your new goodies! :)

Bov please remember to rest some while mucking up that blasted water!

Make it a great day everyone!

I don't think the dear sweet Pokey sent me any recipes....the equally dear sweet Salem did though....For some reason I wanna try Suicide Bunny's Mother's Milk....They've got it at the local B&M and the links provided by Salem have several clones of MM...The name though.....Also saw a recipe for someone or the other's Snake Oil....We have an IMPOSTER....I stole the name but the %s came straight from the mind of The Evel One....

That night when I met Billy and Warren they were far from famous...Billy was on spring break from I believe Florida State...My scooter at the time was Merlin's Revenge....Mostly a medium metalflake shade of blue with a purple shaded in and out that just worked very well together....An old school and now deceased HA going by the moniker Custom Rod had done Merlin on the front of the tank with a bad azz dragon rising from the sea behind Merlin and towards the rear of the tank...I never cared much for entering shows but it stole more than one while in the parking area...At that time I only had a scooter and a pick up...so plenty of time to modify Merlin....she was a 1973 HD Shovelhead...The engine was as hot as the bike and one day I split it in 1/2 while well over a 100mph....she shot a 1/2 by 1/2 chunk of the cases into my left foot between the ankle and heel...and it stuck in there....at 10 million degrees...That was a hellacious and very expensive few minutes....Left me with a destroyed engine and a shoe full of blood....Last year an old friend moved a double wide in near where this happened...He found the top half of Merlin's front piston while grading his front yard...What did I do....I built an even bigger and way more nasty engine and plugged it in....Later I pulled the engine and installed it into the first motorcycle I built from scratch...Sent Merlin too Chicago for a princely sum seeing as the engine stayed here...Today I ride a mostly stock last year Evolution Springer Softail....Turning all those wrenches to ride brought a lot of attention...Now all I do is change the oil and keep on trucking...

Coils...Specifically from the Coil Master....The coils look great for sure...Previously I was using a block of wood carved with a screw for holding the starter leg and the drill bit just drilled in and left there...My method was to use two fingers and spin the coil around the bit...kinda like turning a bolt....I didn't hold the end of the wire....That was achieving some tension in the wire though I had no idea...it was just how I did it...Coils came off very stable in ohms....Enter the CM...They are loose coils...My problem is the first and last wrap...Looks great and if you fire them off lightly and do a little squeezing it will become ohm stable...It will start at like 1.0 and finish at 1.5 or something...Every coil I've done has gained ohms after working it a bit...When fired off at 12.5 watts on the Stick the loose end wraps have caused a couple of coils too pop...Blew them up!!! The new device will allow tension and adhesion between wraps as they bite into each other...The coils from FT should IMO be tensioned...so good there...Now all my coil wraps touch each other...The first few firings kinda bonds them..There is terminology for that but it eludes me ATM...Also heating and cooling kinda sets the wire where you put it height and center wise in relation too the incoming air...and yeah...It matters a sheet ton in flavor where that coil is residing in the air flow path....a big deal on a KF and pretty much a plug in and go on the KSM...It's kinda set for you on the KSM...So good there as well as another variable is removed...Once I get the deal scienced out as too gauge and # of wraps I'm sure a SAS envelope will get you a couple of coils straight from the Evel One....

So I'm reading about the latest and greatest Vapor Shark DNA 40....40 I'll likely never use....If a coil is wound from Nickel wire{haven't used that either} the DNA 40 uses temperature too control watts.....Says no matter what the cotton will never burn with temperature sensing...Always the most wattage without burn....Watch and see if temperature sensing mods aren't the next big thing...$190 that beech best Cadillac......

Uh-oh, Dee...was I s'posed to send them?? I have always been a bit scattered and seemingly more so lately  Incoming! Just remember, they are more along the lines of suggestions, of guidelines than "recipes"--Fran and Tracy can attest to that :)

Went to Daytona, once. I took a left, went over a little rise and found myself dead on the beach, the Atlantic waving before me. Kinda just sat there stunned for a few moments (no experience with vehicles being allowed on the beach) as I didn't really think I had had *that* much to drink. I don't remember the restaurants or the bars but I *do* remember having the most amazing slice of Key Lime pie EVER :D

I was at Darlington, yesterday, as some of you know. Ran/walked the infield of "The Lady in Black." Kinda cool, never been there before--not a race fan, per se, but have an appreciation for it and its history. And speaking of Santee, I was there the weekend before this, just checking things out--it's changed, Dee, as most places do. And not always for the better...

Love the DTs, Bov!!!! Looking for pics on the setup when you do get them--y'all know I am a happy amalgam of girly-girl and tinkerer, frou-frou and Ms. Fix-It/Do-It-Herself.

I have tapered down my shoe collection, only 30 pairs last count...they still outnumber my current collection of mods.

But I am working on it ;)

Oly, so good to see you! Very nice to see some old friends popping by--thanks for putting the word out, Salem.

Morning folks :)

Thanks for the juice cook book link, Salem!

I already forgot half of what I read here this morning, just know that I read every word and smiled, applauded, and pouted at every important moment

Long night in the basement, got to sleep around 5am...and Katie woke me at 9am. I was not a happy camper! Reminding myself of her age and mental status has me working to improve my attitude...along with more coffee than I usually drink.

Back to the basement I go...

No Pokey you weren't supposed to send me anything...I got some recipes from Salem yesterday and had received some a week or so ago...I was pretty sure they were from Salem also...Our crib at Santee was actually out of Manning...Rented a lot from the Drose family and had an old trailer there...Right on Lake Marion.....When dad passed all the care of the homeplace, beach and lake fell on my shoulders...So I sold the place at Lake Marion...That Lady in Black...My first visit there was @1972...Thanks again for the recipes....Hoping I've got enough flavor to get me past my coil machine/ coil verses tank/device experimentation....

Bov I've become an expert at holding my tongue...it's best to just let sheet you don't wanna hear just float on by...Mom is entertaining my cousin and my least favorite person in the world....one of her sisters...Here for the weekend....I hid my truck when I came in last night...Outta sight outta mind....Not welcome at Mom's and damn sure better not come up here...Guessing I'll have too count the silverware Monday...Sis' family at Myrtle Beach visiting Unc H and Auntie Barb...H is dad's brother and hell no dad and H didn't get along....Dad passed and H had a big guilt trip...Long story but H made it good on his own...Bottom line little Riley is at Mom's for the witch convention...I rescued him for a while yesterday while they were gone...Tired him and Spike out letting them roam free and explore the swamp and surrounding woods...Pre tick and Copperhead season....Probably be holding my tongue this week as I hear some of the bullsheet from Mom that dear old Sis put in her head....She's an expert at creating hate in the family...I hear much I don't like you can rest assured they will know not to come back...Kinda funny she has two sons nearby and staying here...Maybe kinda sad would be better

Hugo, man that brings back bad memories. We bought a house in Sumter area (Wedgefield) the week before Hugo decided to go after my family. We had people in Charleston, Sumter (obviously), Columbia, Charlotte and Lynchburg VA and everyone got hit. We found out afterwards that 2 tornadoes touched within 1/2 mile of the house, One neighbor had his shed lifted up whole and dropped on top of another neighbors shed. We had over $5k damage to the house (basically the roof), and car damage when the garage ceiling collapsed on it. We were locked in by trees collapsed in the road to get out that the National guard had to cut a passage through. They literally cut a tunnel up the road through the trees and we could look left and right at times seeing the tree trunk of the same tree on either side. Took a long time recovering and cleaning up from that.

Hey, Oly! Good to see you here ;) I think that you are using Kangers with their top fill type ProTank ( forgot the name)

I'm using a few Evod's, kanger pro, aspire tank and a couple Davide Kings (having some problems after tearing these down for cleaning). I have used the evods mostly because they fit in the the pocket without breaking. I've never been interested in rebuilding on my own. I guess an accurate description is i want to vape not a new hobby. That may be sacrilegious here.

Oly if it gets you by then by all means carry on....Hugo...Landfall was incorrectly predicted to be Florida...We had dropped my speed boat at Santee on the way too Sarasota...Storm warnings were up so we rolled outta Sarasota and stopped in Daytona...Well North of predicted landfall...It was a well defined storm...clear skies overhead with a black line on the horizon...So we headed on North again...well North of predicted landfall again...I was prepping the boat for a couple days of fun when the dang landfall again tracked us down...It was getting uncomfortably close so we hauled too Fayetteville where we had relatives...Wife's Aunt had an unused boat storage shed and I decided too duck my boat there...The wind was raging by this time....As I was unhooking the boat from the truck a tornado passed directly overhead and took the roof of the boat storage shed to Lord knows where...Lotta noise...lotta wind and poof!! It disappeared....I said the hell with the boat and truck and bailed until things calmed down some...The next day we helped rescue workers in SC clear I 95 and a good deal of the road between Manning and Lake Marion...That area was devastated but my karma was good...Our place was unscathed...That was my first Hurricane experience...I've since become a seasoned expert dealing with them...The worst being Fran and Floyd...

Nope Oly, not sacrilegious to my ears. I have little desire to build and make vaping a hobby either. What I do want is a satisfying vape that fits my very tight budget. That's why I ordered the pre made coils for my Subtank mini. A compromise I hope I'll be happy with :)

Dee, agreed on learning to let the sheet roll off my back. I do have to enforce some important boundaries, as Katie is the "give an inch and she'll take a mile" type. Seepage is slowing down, tomorrow is supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 50 so hopefully we'll have some drying.

Anyone get that restless leg thing? For the past week I've had that issue but not just my legs, my arms too

I've run into this "No Post Office Box" deliveries before.

Normally what I do is put my physical address in and then use the PO Box as address Number Two.

UPS and that other one like them used to deliver to the house with the physical address. But they don't do that any more. They deliver the package to the Post Office and I pick it up there.

I asked the lady at the Post Office about that one day and she said it was an agreement that the Postal people had with those delivery companies.

I guess it all comes out the same.

And I've got about six or eight of those friction fit drip tips, so I'm okay. They really are hard to beat. Good drip tips!

Hey Oly, in my humble opinion those Evods are still a danged good little tank. They deliver good flavor and they simply work well. Nothing wrong with them!
