Good morning everyone!

That Goblin sounds a bit frustrating El Dee. Question: how important is it that the coils be centered over the air holes?

I guess I'm asking because when the coils are in place and you have the wicking material where you want it .... then the chimney on .... you are dealing with a confined space and one way or the other the air is going to go through the assembly. I guess having the coils centered over the air holes would be optimum, but does it really matter?

LOL, that Suicide Bunny/Mother's Milk never sounded good to me either and I never bought it. I have a lady friend who makes the best juice in the country in my opinion and I don't waste my money on other juices. The one thing I've learned is that I don't like those other juices anyhow!

It rained here all night, supposed to rain all day today and all day tomorrow.

I might just have to go out and sit in my old bass boat in the weeds in the front yard by the plaid couch and wait for the Big Flood.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Good morning,TT:) Looking at the dusting of snow outside and it's not looking good at all. Guess I should be happy it's just a dusting but I'm sick of the darn snow. No big plans for today as yet.

We had ONE dusting of snow this winter that was melted and gone in an hour.

That was all I needed!

Hey, if you're not doing anything c'mon over today and help me clean house!! And bring your friends with you!!

We'll have fun!!

Trust me!!

Thought of you yesterday, Dee.

Had a package coming--signed confirmation via USPS.

Got home in time, positioned myself in the "stand" for a good view of the mailbox, stalking mode--no letter carrier was going to get past me! Oh no....

Waited. Tick-tock, tick-tock. No sight of him...

Had to go gather the chilluns, no getting around it. Left the house for 23 minutes (oh, yeah, I timed it) and followed his known route (oh, yeah, I know his route  ). No sight of him...

Got home? Yup. "Attempt to Deliver" note in the box...30 minutes until PO closing, thought about going to get it then realized I'd have beat him back and my package would still be riding around. Thinking Mr. Letter Carrier must have had his cloaking device on.......

SIgh. Saturday morning trip to the PO... meh. But better than FedEx, that's a two hour round trip, better than UPS--they are closer but none too friendly or too bright at our little package depot ...

/whine

Anyways, good morning TT, Fran, everyone!

Looking forward to catching up here--looks like there is a LOT to catch up on! But later... happy Saturday!

Oh, and TT! Thought of you as well this week... one of my patients has a plaid couch on his front porch. And a recliner. And a few guineas running around, lol!

And a happy Saturday backatcha, TT!!

Yes, I lubs dealing with goobermint employees, heck, I *am* one--I feel their pain :D. And my dad was a letter carrier for "career" number two. OMG, the stories he experienced and shared with me <SMH>

Frontliners, catching all the grief, the wrath, the brunt of people's disgust and dismay at a broken and inefficient system, fun, fun, fun.

That said, no excuse for the surly and sour dispositions behind the counter--not really. We all have crosses to bear... and you, Mr. Clerk, could be in far worse shoes.

The PO here is a bit more interesting in the summer months or at least it used to be--the cute little Mormon missionaries used to park their bikes out front and come inside the lobby to cool their heels, catch a breather from the heat in the AC. I rather liked visiting with them while waiting in line--messing with their heads a bit in a good natured way.

They don't come 'round much anymore. I imagine they've given up?? LOL

My patient is rich indeed, TT, rich in ways many of us will never understand nor appreciate. He's a happy soul, content with what he has and where he is... so much better off than many people who wander through life miserable for painting themselves a failure for allowing other people to define what "rich" is, what "happy" is...

That said, I make him put the guns away when I visit... he is rich and happy and all that BUT crazy as a dang loon. Not taking chances on being mistaken for a varmint--though I could easily see how that might happen :)

OK, off I go into the big, bad world... enjoy your day, my friends!

Morning ladies and gents :)

Our "dusting" is enough that the snow plows are out clearing the streets  I haven't been outside yet, but looks like the 3-5 is leaning on the high end of that forecast.

Dee, you have more tinkering patience than I...that Goblin would have been thrown clean into the next county!

Pokey, hope you're able to get your package. My new iStick is sitting at the PO here, we'll see if our carrier bothers to bring it in the snow (that is not bad enough to keep the mail from being delivered.)

TT, I'd come help you clean, but I have to walk 5 miles uphill both ways to get milk and bread because of this retched snow! No need to mention that it's gonna get up into the 40s today and melt pretty fast ;)

Yesterday we had the "No accumulation" snow. Yup it accumulated AGAIN, about 3 inches. at least the roads and driveway weren't bad. I had told work if i had to shovel even one shovel full i wouldn't be in to work. My back is wrecked again after the last snow (8 in) and am having a hard enough moving around to even think about shoveling.

Fran the coil winder works great....No problems there...

Tejas the coil should always be centered over the air hole..A precisely as possible...It makes better vapor and the coil will live longer...I let go of the fire button while still on the inhale to clear the vapor and cool the coil...That Goblin has no room at all for error...My last attempt had one coil glowing and one not....Looked exact...positioned exact....glow.....no glow....So I touched it thinking the wire cutter feature the Goblin offers may be the problemohh....No glow doesn't mean it's not 10,000 degrees....Never have I had this much trouble getting a rig to fire off....Trust this....I will beat that little bass turd into submission....and those damn coils will be centered over the holes....Even with a coil grounding on the chimney it showed signs of great performance...Just a triple double pain in the azz to build...

Pokey I feel your pain.....My attempt notification....Not even my sheet....The neighbor lady had ordered up and it along with the notification got left in my box.....while I was waiting on 2 packages....I took her stuff on down and my stuff came the next day....

Sorry you're hurting Oly. I really hate to hear that!

It sure doesn't sound like you need to be shoveling anything. You DO need to take it easy and get that back better!

Dee on the Goblin I go to the farthest positive hole from the negative. I try to get the coil as close as possible to the positive block without touching.... and yeah there ain't much room under the hood. I just can't get the wicking? or something fine-tuned enough for it to be truly enjoyable for me. At some point I think I'll take it to the coil boyz at the B&M.

Sorry to hear that oly... we were lucky, we didn't get any accumulation of snow yesterday. Probably because it's been over 80º all week. Early January it got down to 44º and there were snow advisory warnings.... Hey it California, what can I say.

I'm also sorry to hear everybody's have so much PO problems........ I think mail carriers are like Cows. Fast delivery comes from happy carriers and happy carriers come from California !!

Happy Saturday all !!!

Oly I'm sorry to hear about your present condition...feel better soon !!!!!!!!

Yeah Wharf I'm hitting the farthest hot lead from negative...Thinking if I mold the negative lead before mounting things will go a lot easier...On my contacting the chimney attempt I trimmed the wick to about 2/3 the depth of the juice channel....Seemed to work OK but I only hit it a couple of times....I gotta file out the connections and try to kill the wire cutter feature before carrying on....

Ooh, can't like that post :( Don't push too hard, Oly. I do hope that your back heals fast and that Spring comes even faster for you.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Beautiful weather here today and I am headed back out.

The Prop 65 issue has been going on here for a while with ejuice.

So the State is saying second hand vapor has nicotine yet here is another report showing there is no airborne nicotine. I hope these guys fight it.

There is a thread here at ECf started by Hoogie from Madvapes. He is also involved since he ships to the state of CA. I too hope that they fight it.

The warm weather took out the dusting we had, woo hoo.

My back, well i'm praying i'll get another epidural soon and it will help. I know i need to stretch and exercise to help strengthen the muscles to stabilize my back but i just can't get started.

At least i've got good vaping juice while i sit around.
