Afternoon folks

I crashed hard after not being able to sleep well for the last couple of weeks. At noon, Katie poked her head in my room to make sure I was still alive

Good luck with the cuttings Tracy, Dee has some great advice.

My wife and i are very tired, we've had our 9 week old grandson the last two nights. Love him to death and we've been able to bond so much with him the 5 overnights we've had. Last night we had his two older brothers too so we had some fun. The older boys go right to bed for us at 8pm but Atom didn't want to sleep till 11.

I had my grandson alot when he was a baby as well. It is a great time to bond with them for sure. He picked out his own name for me which is Monna

I can't say how much we love our 12 grands. Each and everyone of them are special, wonderful gifts.

El Dee, thanks so much for all of your suggestions. I will definitely be trying them out! I did buy rooting hormone at Home Depot already and will take cuttings from various places.
I haven't tried finding this plant online, and it would probably be much easier, but I want that particular bush if possible.

This is funny, my wife uses Precious for kids that aren't really all that good looking. As in Precious in the sight of the Lord.

But thank you. we're partial to them.

908 when I take cuts from a remote location I take along a gallon baggy and some wet paper towels....You can wet the towels with city tap water if you leave it out overnight and let the chlorine evaporate...otherwise !!!!! I wrap the wet paper towels around the cut ends...However many cuts I take I just bunch them and wrap the towels around the whole bunch... I use the bag to keep the wet towels in check and not get water everywhere...I've seen cuts survive for days like that though I try and root them asap....So far my only rooting failures have all been grapevines....

Salem, let me know your results with the Tres Leches on your coil, and what (if any) other flavors you are thinking might mix well with it, please? I would imagine most fruits would go well, but since I'm not a fruit vaper, I'm thinking coconut would be really good. I'm still using FA coconut but I need a better one. I didn't like Capp's at all. FA is decent but very faint, maybe TFA'a coconut candy? I want that Baker's flaked coconut flavor!

Haha, me too Fran! I was gonna put it up a couple of days ago, but had already locked up the shed and was too lazy to go back out. The quilt on my bed needs washing after a long winter.

Hey everyone!

Well, I took about 6 or 8 clippings from various parts of that bush (tree) at my Dad's this afternoon. Turns out Bo watched my Dad root plants before soooooooo, I put him to work! I read everything to him, including ElDee's posts on the subject (thanks again ElDee!) and we had a great time reminiscing about my Dad and his love/luck with plants while we tried our best with these shoots. Again, another memory maker!

Way back when we were in high school, my Dad had a hand in helping Bo with some "plants". (some might call them the medicinal type) Each week my Dad would mix up his magical mix (some fort of fertilizer) and we'd go for a ride. We'd get near this field and drop Bo off, who disappeared into the field somewhere and my Dad and I would continue on.....about 15 minutes later we'd circle back and pick Bo back up right where we let him out. I gotta say, that was the most beautiful healthy plant I have ever seen of it's kind, and Bo and I will never forget it! Thanks to my Dad. Yeah, my Dad was COOL!

I'm going to watch a vid or two now, just to make sure nothing escaped me in my efforts.
