City boy here... We went to NYC for our 20th (sprung a diamond pendent on top of the Empire St building). I had always wanted to see it and always wanted to hate it........ and I loved it and Mrs Wharf did as well.

Heya strangers.... Yes, I'm still alive, if not a bit warn out Have been on the run for a couple of weeks. Went back home 2 weeks ago for my 40 years HS reunion and had a blast. Last week found me at ECC hanging with vape friends.

My prayers go out to GoldieMom and DeeMom, they are in my thoughts...

Hoping for good Dr news from Dee and his mom!

May as well have pointed that gun...got ready to take Katie's car for inspection and her battery was dead as a door nail. I've been telling her for 6 months to quit going out to the garage and starting her car just to see the gauges and hear it start. Yup, it's been fireworks for the rest of the day.

Went over to one of the neighbors' and borrowed a battery charger, got it hooked up and charging and Katie went ballistic over me leaving the garage door open...more words flew. Ate my lunch, told her to leave everything alone because it would take several hours to charge, and curled in for my nap. She woke me twice to ask about the car. Yes sir...there were more loud words exchanged, ending with something about me needing to find a place to live if I was going to continue to be mean to her. I just shook my head.

Her car started and is sitting in the drive running to fully recharge the battery.

I feel your pain, Bov. I try and be patient with my mom and it gets very hard to do at times. She does realize it when she is particularly mean and hard to deal with and at least apologizes and tries to do a bit better though. I so hope that you are able to get your own place soon. It has to be hard since Katie is able to hang that over your head. (((Hugs)))

BTW- My mom is still cig free! 4 weeks on Saturday

I'm so proud for your mom's 4 weeks, Salem! I do hope she's recovering well.

Apologies from Katie are very rare, and that's the way she has always been. When my FIL was still alive, this house was a constant battleground, and sometimes I think that she misses that excitement even tho it's negative. I'm usually better at shaking it off, but with my own stresses coming up, I've been slipping a lot, letting her draw me in

Derp!!!!! I've been running a Virgin Mobile hot spot for years....Start....$55 a month unlimited....then $55 for 6 Gigs....I got on average 3 weeks on 6 gigs for over a year...Last 2 $55 cycles?????....6 gigs lasts a week....I smell FISH!!!!!! Trimming where I can to see if it helps...Doubts....I got doubts

Been hustlin the usual 10 things at once....Compressor is in it's house and running....next up I gotta put in new air lines for the new found pressure....gotta cut some dang grass tomorrow before it gets outta hand...Hoping by this time next week I'll have a new air system rolling...I'm dog tired but still swinging

Mom is back home and trying to wear those new phones OUT!!!! It's gonna take time for the wrist to heal but unless the tide changes no surgery will be required...Concussion still having some effect as well....

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming....

Do you ever rest, Dee? I know...not in your nature. Sure am glad to hear your mom is recovering!

Fran, I'll be doing more research when I get the official SSI award letter in the mail. From what I can find right now, there is nothing available in low income housing around here, the waiting lists are even closed. And to be honest, I'd rather stay put than get stuck in the projects...at least I know the enemy here.

Gorgeous day and my back hurts too much to go for a ride on the bike. GRRRRRRRRRRR. Can't wait till my Epidural appointment comes through. Hope i can get the injection before labor day (going to the beach that week).
