Good morning Fran and the group.
I'm having some kidney malfunctions again, so I might be slow getting on here.
Hope each of you have a Large day. Yes, I said large. Big things can happen for you at any time, so smile the time away thinking Big thoughts.
Hope you feel better soon Rosco. Offering up a little prayer for you.

Roscoe I hope you feel better soon !!!!

Joaquin....yes I can now spell Joaquin....Now a Cat 3 at 120 mph and gaining....National Hurricane Center has it grazing our Eastern most point, Cape Hatteras...They said rainfall amounts would be "historical".....Other models have it hitting us....That would be a NEGATIVE!!!!!!!! We've been under a stalled tropical depression for a week.....a dang front pushed that out and then it stalled over us....not sure how much rain has fallen at this point but 'historical" is on the way....Gotta hit the shop for a while and then load the war wagon....Time for me too "Batten the hatches !!!".....

I don't have any trouble spelling it but danged if I can pronounce it. Sure hope it treats you lightly Dee. The models are going all over the place. No telling what it's going to do but if it hits it ain't gonna be pretty. Hope you and Salem come out well.

(((Rosco))) please add my prayers to the bunch and take it easy.

As for the top fill tanks, the Hydra (herakles), although on the small capacity side (Fran!) ;) works very well so far. Two coworkers have the Triton (aspire) and one absolutely loves it while the other (who Vapes at super high wattage) complains of it leaking from the top holes.
I decided to try out a Hydra for the no fiddle, easy coil changes. (Along with, not in place of my Kayfuns and Troll rda's) ;)

We are watching this Joaquin (waa-keen?) closely as well. We took down the canopy top and removed anything that could blow around and cause damage.
I'm hoping and praying it turns out to sea.
ElDee, Salem and Pokey.....stay safe!

Sleep well Fran :)

Yep Tracy, my chore tomorrow is to gather everything in the yard that might become a missile in high winds, including the clothesline pole. It's time to pack it all in for hibernation anyway.

I just hit the funk wall (drags tongue across the carpet) time to clean my coil. Hate that nasty hit

I googled one for you to check out as I am on my way to Zzzzzz land.Haha

Bo has been using his for a few weeks now with zero issues and the flavor is great!
They come with one 1.8 kanthal coil and a.2 nickel coil for temp control devices. (And a spare glass tank)

Sweet dreams everyone! Batten down the hatches East coast!

You are correct, LD. heavy, heavy rains here and just like in your area, our ground is already saturated from the last week of rain.

I am so bad about not watching news or weather that the first I heard of Joaquin was today when my son texted me and said that he and my grandson are prepared to high tail it up here from the coast if she changes course at all. He was only 9 years old when Hugo hit but, he suffers PTSD from it just like the rest of us that stupidly rode that sucker out. None of us will ever make that mistake again. Guaranteed.

The way it looks right now, NY may end up with quite a mess on their hands. If you pay attention, most of the really bad storms hit late in the season.

(((Rosco))) Add my prayers to the list of all those keeping you in thoughts and prayers. Please do check in when you are able to.

Stay prepared and stay safe everyone!

Thanks to each of you for your prayers. I really need them again I think.
I'm hoping they don't send me out of state again. It's too far and I don't really feel up for that either.

I'm praying on my knees for each of you being affected by this Phoenix hurricane. Notice I didn't say Joaquin, cuz I don't want it to hear me and come acalling.[emoji34] [emoji15]
We have friends in Virginia, D.C. & S. Carolina that I want to call, but I'm too tired to even talk on the phone. I'm just really fatigued.
Be safe and know that prayers are powerful words to our Lord, and He loves you more than we do. And we do.
Thanks again friends. I'm praying this storm goes back out to sea.
