Floods or Drought... Hmm

I hope and pray all are safe ~

I ordered a pack of Eric's :)

Do come back and let us know what you think of Eric. HA!

Dayum. This state is a mess. My sister is still stranded in Charleston and this is a neighborhood not far from my son. Curfew still in effect for most of the state.

Good morning Refugees. Hope everybody is having a good day.
That pic hurts my heart.
Mine too. Another thing hurting mine is the missing crew of the El Faro. They haven't posted the names of the crew but I know quite a few seamen that work out of Jacksonville. Most are probably retired by now but some had children and other family members working. The waiting is really hard on the families. It seems now that it went down with 33 souls on board. I haven't seen the news this morning but the chances of finding survivors is getting slimmer.

Oh that's awful Salem! I hope the water recedes and SOON! :(

Problem is that there are dams bursting mid state. All of that water flows to the coast ( Charleston) The reason that Charleston is called the Lowcountry is because it is barely above sea level and flat as a pancake. More than 200 highways are closed in this state from the flooding. Some have bridges that are so badly damaged they are saying it could take months to repair. It will be a mess for a long while yet. I am just glad that there ave been no more than 9 lives lost so far. Property can be repaired or replaced :)

My oldest sister went down there for a memorial service for a friend that recently passed. She is also stranded there.

Hope everyone has a good day. :)

I know, Wuzz! I have been following that story as well. I am seriously doubting that ship should have ever attempted the trip. It is not looking good at all
