Dang......I lost my glasses the day I burned the limbs from the ice storm....Still MIA

Gotta dig out something to wear too Sis' surprise 50th party tomorrow....You know....Make sure it's clean

Went too the local Mexican establishment last evening for the old flank steak quesidillia.....Was approached by a guy I worked with about 10 years ago....He's part owner of a shop up the road and looking for help...He couldn't cut the mustard then and I seriously doubt he's improved much....try and help him and he knew more than anyone......Couldn't answer the hard question about why the last guy quit.......Told him $1000 after taxes every Friday or he'd just have to fix those cars himself....Got the usual old commission story and how I could eclipse 1K......Trust this....insurance does not ice the cake heavily....You gotta dig to turn 40 hours on commission...If you get 80 a week as he said you will work 120.....Whatcha think they would say when I gotta take Mom too the doc??? I got dogs to rub and sheet to do....You wanna rattle my cage you best bring the serious buckaroos....Bass turd could've at least picked up my check......

Went thru a major SNAFU on the Samurai yesterday afternoon.....The line I was replacing wouldn't thread into the new brake cylinder I had....It looked good going in but got hard to turn quick....I tried....I failed....My local parts guru called my Sammy odd ball sheet when he couldn't access another wheel cylinder....Well well.....O'Reilly's had the odd ball sheet on the dang shelf....I went from crisis situation @5pm to having the rear brakes completed @7pm....Trip included....Now on too the front brakes....Already had some hits by peeps wanting to purchase it...Pretty sure it ain't going anywhere....Like I said...You wanna rattle my cage.........

I read this post while my mom was getting her MRA (that was not a fun day) when I read this
"Gotta dig out something to wear too Sis' surprise 50th party tomorrow....You know....Make sure it's clean"

It reminded me of my son. He tosses (clean but wrinkled) clothes in the dryer with a damp cloth. Single guys have lots of tricks ;)

Took 3 people ( 3rd one was an actual nurse) to get my moms IV in today. The first two poked and jabbed up and down each arm until I was ready to tell them to stop and get the heck out of there. Not sure what the deal was because my moms veins are normally easy to hit.

Thank goodness the Dr had given my mom something to relax her for the MRI. She slept through most of it. It was one helluva day though. Glad it is done and hoping you guys had a better day :)

I had a black Levi shirt that looked faded to me.....Old but hey....it's been in the closet....Being as i threw the diet to the wind when I began taking Harvoni I need the shirt to be black....Slimming color and all.....Yahh Digg?? Thought they had special detergent for dark colors so off to that isle I go....got some Cheer in a purple or black bottle that just keeps colors bright....not specifically for dark....Looks like it worked fine....We combining that with black Levis and black Doc Martins....Hey....Levis and dang old Docs.....I'll be ready

Every other day I wear military BDUs in the old style camo....BDU = battle dress uniform.... The struggle is real

Could be MamaGold's veins were hard to hit due to the Doc relaxing her....or maybe they were just rooks....Hope she is doing well.....

I saw pics from a tornado just up the road.....Killed all the dude's cows....Leveled his entire farm....I'm skeered of them sumbeechin tornadoes ......

Got the link from SubTank Supply saying they got the Krixus......I still got the same 3 coils in the Crowns.....They still billow so good there....Hoping Bov likes the Krixus....However the Hell it may be spelled....

Killed all of the cows??? :( :( I was born and raised in the big city. Never really knew country life until I met my husband. We were teenagers when we met. I remember the first time he took me to meet his parents. He hit a cow on the way!!! ( we were in a truck and the truck was fine) I cried like a baby and made him call the guy that owned the cow to be sure the cow was okay. Yep, I have always loved animals. All of them.

The only other natural disaster I have survived besides Hugo was a bad azz tornado in Ohio when I was young. Wiped out much of Cleveland and the outlying areas. Our family was with another family swimming in their pool when it hit. We saw that sucker coming. I still have nightmares about it.

My veins are hard as hades to find and hit. I normally have to get an anesthetic nurse or take an IV in the back of the hand (OUCH!) My veins like to roll. I had blood drawn about a week ago and the nurse found a good vein. I will remember where it is because I think that she marked me for life lol

Speaking of that blood draw, I have had some medical issues going on for about 2 years now. I had given up on finding an answer and ready to chalk it all up on aging. Until Wednesday when i saw my doc and got my blood work results. Think that I may have diagnosed what my problem is myself. We shall see. Got o have a medical degree these days and be able to diagnose yourself if you want to get results.

My mom told me today that she isn't doing anymore tests. I really can't blame her. If they don't know anything from these, they probably never will. Not worth the toll it is taking on her IMHO

    Good afternoon, all.

Thanks, Bov. I am hopeful. My TSH levels were way high on my blood work. Indicating an under active thyroid. The doc said that we need to monitor it. Well, once I got home and looked at last years bw, I found that they were way high then too. I am thinking that 2 years in a row is enough monitoring and it is time to move on to more testing.

I have been suffering from severe fatigue and exhaustion. many days it is all that I can do to make it through the day without a nap or two. This is not just a little sleepy and need a nap. This is like a drugged feeling. Like I must sleep before I pass out feeling. I have tried everything and there is no getting around it.

I have been to my sleep dr ( I do have sleep apnea) but, my apnea is well controlled with my cpap. He put me on Provigil and Nuvigil (narcolepsy med) anyway and it didn't even help. I had about resigned myself to the fact that this is just the way I am going to feel. Until I saw these bw results.

Darn shame that I am the one that has to find the issue but at this point, I will be ecstatic if i finally found the cause and am able to get some relief.

Only problem is going to be finding a decent endocrinologist (sp?) in this area. Probably not going to happen but, I will give it hell! ;)

I hope you find a Doc that can take care of that soon Goldie.
Thanks, Wharf. I will even if it means moving back to Charleston. We have wanted to make the move anyway and I refuse to grow old here with such a horrible medical system. Just about have my mom ready to move back with us :D

Thanks, guys. Believe it or not, I am actually excited that I may finally get an answer as to what is going on with me. I knew that this was not normal. Hypothyroidism is fairly easy to treat. Weird as it sounds, my fingers are crossed that I do have it.
