Oly there are several resources for you and your wife. Both al anon and narcanon are for the user's loved ones. Mrs Wharf went to those meetings and I went to NA and AA. It helped her a lot to hear and share with others going through the same situations.

Another good resource is therapy. Many ins plans have a certain amount of sessions at no charge. Mrs Wharf and I went for 6 years. I would still be going but when we moved I didn't want to start all over again.

Did you mean Nar-anon, from what i saw the narcanon is a (questionable) program for the addict themselves. I found nar-anon as a family support group.

That is great to hear, Oly. Just being with others that are going through the same thing has got to be great support. Just knowing that you are not alone. I can assure you that you are in a very big boat.

Plus, learning what to do, what works and what does not work as got to be a huge help. (((Hugs))) to you and to Mrs Oly.

This is the first time she has wandered away once we were in the check out line. I know it's an adventure for her, but after 2 hours and every isle, I'm at the end of my patience LOL! Once we get home and start unpacking, she is surprised all over again at what she tossed into her shopping cart. Fortunately she doesn't have to worry about how much she spends, but she would never make it on a tight budget. One of the main problems is freezer space...she loves to buy frozen stuff, but refuses to let me plug in and run the small freezer I have in the basement because it might cost an extra couple of dollars a month on the electric bill. I have to trow out more wasted food each month than that freezer would cost to run for a year.

Guess I better put some habaneros in the garden this spring ;)

Ooh, Bov. Better keep an extra close eye on the wandering. I hope that her dementia is not advancing to the state that she will be prone to wander off from the house.

I lose patience plenty of times myself. I get that from my mom. She has zero patience for much of anything.

Almost forgot to say that the oncologist visit went excellent. 6 months down and we will cross the next bridge in 6 months when we come to it.

I'm in full blown Harvoni withdrawals.......

Thought it best I give myself a little reward for hanging through the Harvoni....Well after I found that guitar that's what excuse I used.....Drove too Wilmington today and secured an ESP LTD WA-600....Got home to discover that after 5 years sitting guitar cables bite the dust......Not one but two....Least it wasn't my Marshall as I first thought.

Prayers your way Oly ..........

Congratulations on the five years Wuzz....!!!

Reading blogs prior Harvoni indicated many felt a boost in energy....They attributed that too the medicine working and killing the HepC....My thoughts were the Harvoni had something added to boost energy.....Likely addictive....likely a form of methamphetamine......just move some letters around according too the mix of chemicals in the chain......Cold sweat and headaches this am....Thankfully that has eased a bit....Stubbing the little and next toe on the door jamb while feeling like a bus ran over you ????? They gonna be bruised....Fekk Me!!!!!

Hoping MamaGold's reports continue to improve.......My ... would be moving to Charleston lickety damn split....Might I suggest Goose Creek?????

Damn phone was completely dead after switching on wifi....on it's own....after I disabled switching wifi on....constant searching for something that isn't there....burning down the battery in the process....set not to do so and does it anyway....Why they called Smart????? The best thing is no calls or texts came in during the dead period....I now have communications but I'm not answering till I feel better....

Damn cousin owes me money and got ...... because I said some unfavorable things about the Donald....Now I'm ...... and just as damn soon as I go out I'm heading his damn way....fekk him and the Donald....Bet this right here....5 pm his debt will be paid....he won't owe me again

Ouch Dee! I broke my next to little toe a few years back by stubbing it...yup it hurt. As for the Don...I expect my FB friend list may be shorter by the time Nov gets here :D

Waiting on the dirt on the Target, Tracy! My Krixus still hasn't shipped, I hate pre orders.

I can already say that it is the best tank I've tried in a long time!

First juice was eh?....switched it out to another that was TOO flavorful, now I'm Vaping a blueberry milk type vape and it's really nice! I can see why Salem raves about these c cell coils!

I keep hearing Salem say they just keep getting better, so I'm excited!

My mom had a heart attack last night, guys. She used her life alert. They called ambulance and then my eldest sister and I. They did heart cath and opened artery that was 100% blocked but said she really needs open heart surgery. Bad part is that she would not survive open heart surgery.

I have been at the hospital since the wee hours of the morning. Zombified, I am.

I'm so sorry to hear this Salem. Just when things were looking so positive for her. You, her and your family are in my prayers.
