Salem, sorry about your Mom's heart attack. I am agnostic so no prayers but trust in modern medicine and hope that it works out as well as possible.

Positive thoughts are appreciated just as much, Moon. Thank you.

Great news about your mom being home! Sure hope she takes this as seriously as it is

She just might, Bov. It scared her as much as it did the rest of us. We all had serious doubts that she was going to survive.

The warning from the heart Dr was very stern and blunt. Quit smoking and take your meds or die. Only two options that exist. I am very hopeful.

BTW- Two big thumbs up to Alert1 (life alert) they truly did help to save my moms life. Anyone out there even thinking that they or a loved one may need one, DO IT.

Odd thing is that my mom refused to wear the life alert necklace after her cancer surgery. She complained that they took too long to answer and that she could be dead by the time that they did. Although every time I tested it with her, they answered in less than 1 minute. Nobody could talk her into putting it back around her neck.

Until my son came up at Christmas. He asked her to please wear it for him. She couldn't refuse his plea and it ended up saving her life.

Continued prayers for Salem and MamaGold.......

Yeah old Goose Creek....I think I told the GC story a few months back.....That was the first time I was stranded in the lower half of SC......

Been trading horses the last few days....Exchanged the Mickey Thompson wheels I had for the same wheel for the Samurai....Decided to keep the Ranger sane....Now I need a set of wheels for it.....Hustled up and sold my B.C. Rich guitar to help cover the ESP guitar I purchased this week....Tried to get in the middle of a deal on a wrecker but that got sold before I got the ball rolling good.....Been feeling a little better each day as the Harvoni disappears in the rear view....I'm off too troll the Craigs for Ranger wheels

Good morning Refugees. Glad to hear your Mom is at least home Salem. Continued prayers. It's Bike Week here. Lots of awesome iron running up and down the roads and Main Street Daytona is hopping.

Wuzz, my son was just in Daytona a few weeks back. Went to the Daytona 500. He wanted to see Tony Stewart race since this is his last year before retiring. Tony Stewart ended up not racing because he was injured in ATV accident a few weeks before. Son still had a great time though.

Good afternoon (?) all. Been napping off and on all day. Feel like I was hit by a freight train a few times over. Stress will do that to a person. Got to find some energy to get my mom moved back in here. I just did put all of my DIY stuff back in that room. I have way too much anyway.

So far, no mention of cigs from her. She is using the istick 30s and the Delta tanks that I set her up with last time. Fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Hope everyone has a great day :)

Wow, Fran. That looks like it will be well worth it for you though.

I got jack done today. Not sure when the last time that I slept so much was. Getting ready to go back to bed too. My mom is covered around the clock until Monday morning. That's when I will go and pick her up. Thank goodness I have one more day to get ready for her. :)
