Yepp.....Had my "86 model Cub Cadet all serviced and ready to go back to the beach.....so off we went....Got down there and saw water sitting in everyone's yards from all the rain.....My yard was damp but there was no standing water so I get right to cutting the grass.....Half way thru the dang muffler blows apart on the Cub....That sumbeech was loud as Hades so I rigged up some cotton ball ear plugs and kept on getting it....Cause if it disturbed the tree cutting neighbor...well....GOOD!! Bad thing is though that once majestic water oak that got the trimming is barely clinging to life....Not to sure what I'll do about that but letting it go ain't it....trust that....Old Cub is sitting back at home in the shop and some muffler repairs are in the forecast....

Ha, Dee!I was thinking about your tree cutting neighbor being disturbed before I got to that part! Sorry about the muffler work and the sick tree tho.

Today's chore was getting the inside of the old car .... and span, and that she is now. I'm not gonna worry about washing the outside, our yellow pollen season is here, coating everything...including my sinuses. I wish I had your wheeling / dealing skills, Dee!

We have had a lot of rain here the past few days as well. We did need it though. Today was gorgeous although cool for this time of year. That's okay by me. I will take it

The weather has been strange everywhere it seems. I really expected it to be hot by now. This entire week is supposed to be in the 70s which is good by me.

I haven't found my usual enthusiasm for spring this year. I'm usually chomping at the bit to plant flowers and pretty up the yard, but everything just feels like another chore this year. I feel like I could sleep for about a month.

Tonight's treasure hunt was Katie's upper denture. I finally found it tangled up in her bed sheets

Sorry about your tree and muffler. If that tree doesn't make it, might I suggest finding one that'll wreak even more havoc on the neighbors, and plant it even closer to the property line? **insert devil emoticon here** I know ElDee...."lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself!" Yes the weather is very strange this year. It's almost freaky in fact. It has put me way behind schedule with my flower planting, and I don't like it one bit. I love Spring and feel like we've been jipped of it this year completely.
Just feels like it'll all be a rush job now and not as enjoyable. You're not alone Bov!

Weather permitting, I am taking off a 4 day weekend for the holiday. Sat sun mon and tues. it'll be nice to have that 4 day stretch off and get most of those things I was complaining about done.
