We've been hell hammered by rain and thunderstorms the past couple of days....There are 4 or 5 roads washed out and a couple of failed dams in the area.....It's been rough but other than a few limbs and a lotta water we rolling on !!!!!!!!

Old Doc decided to give Mom shots in the knee to see if it improves....If not knee replacement.....Not really sure if Vendetta Aunt is still around or not.....I had to wash that sheet from my mind....Made Sis do the Doc trip so I didn't see old Vendetta.....Worked out well for me....I kept my mouth shut but my eyes were wide open....Mom ain't acting funny and I take that as a good sign....

My most best Unc found out today that his Mom has Stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized into her cerebellum where there is a tumor....Unc married my Mom's sis AuntieG....I told AuntieG whatever the task needed just give me a call.....They're gonna do some radiaition on the brain tumor but all that sheet don't sound good to me...Unc's Mom is 89....She never smoked and they're checking to see if the cancer is genetic...

We got baby girls going to grade school....one in college....a grandson living farther away than Grandma would like and finally a baby girl who's spread her wings and moved away....Down here I got a Niece in the 9th grade and a first year cheerleader....Life it keeps on changing..Guess all we can do is breathe deeply and carry on....Myself I got one eye on vendetta and the other peeled for any dang old teenage boys.....

I feel your pain watching out for those boys. You should see Bo's face EVERYTIME Maddie mentions a boy who likes her. It ain't good, and I feel sorry in advance for the ones who ever hurt her!!!! Lol

We have been having a time of it with the latest c cell coils and I am wondering (Salem) if there are others that will work in the target and guardian (for the two minis) that are non ceramic? Any ideas? Tia

Damn sorry to hear about your uncle's mom, LD That is going to be very hard to go through radiation at her age. Was it synovial injection in moms knee? They usually do work very well. Fingers crossed!

Your posts always make me laugh and remind me of the fact that many a truth is said in jest I love starting my day out reading them. Thank you for that.

On a happy note, Clemson is playing at home tomorrow! The reason that I get excited about it is because that always means that my son ad grandson will be here for the weekend Tomorrow is also the day of our towns Standpipe Festival and it is going to be a lot of fun to take grandson to it while his dad is at the game. He will be very excited when he finds out that Zoomball is going to be there. He did it at the festival we had for the 4th and loved it! It is a huge inflatable ball that kids get inside of and try to walk around on water.

Tons of fun stuff to do at the festival and i know that he will have a blast

If I don't make it back here, i hope that everyone has a great weekend.

I hate to hear that, Tracy. Did you get any of the coils that are 87 cent per 5 pack from VB? They are really good coils IMHO If they end up not fitting quite right you can swap out the bottom pin with a cCell bottom pin. Easy, peasy to do. That's what I would try first. Especially for the price.

I will be glad to send you a few to try. It would be Monday before I could get them in the mail though.

Aw thanks for the offer Salem! I didn't grab any of those coils but I'm going to try some Atlantis coils in the tanks and see what he thinks of them.
Zoomball sounds like a blast!!!! I hope you enjoy every minute with your grandson! (I know you will!)

We've had a nice slow soaking rain since yesterday. I'm sorry it missed you, Mark.

Cooked a big ole' pot roast with taters, carrots, and gravy today. Katie said she thinks she died and went to heaven...I think that means she approves

Cleaned all the baseboard heat strips, our furnace has kicked on several times last night and today. Now it's nap time for this old gal!

@908Tracy - I too have oodles of those other coil heads that could find their way to you. I think I just had a bum coil because the 2nd one (Ni) is working just fine. I've pulled out one of the 0.2 (kanthal?) heads, and it worked fine too. I do have to tighten things up a touch more than I normally do, but I'm getting decent contact and all that.

Recoiled and rewicked my "chubby"/"fatty" KF V3 Mini this morning. It's doing o.k. for me. Started packing up some other tanks that aren't seeing a lot of love at the moment. Trying to get better organized. I need some sort of shelving for my mods. I just don't want it taking up a huge footprint. I have some wood scraps in the garage - perhaps a 2-3 shelf stand may make an appearance when I get motivated to play with power tools
