I got 4 out of 6 two days ago. The berries had an expected delivery date of today, but the storm undoubtedly added a day or two.

Right now I'm enjoying some Dutchie from RayonautiSloth. Apparently it's a recipe from elsewhere, a nice Dutch apple blend.

I got most of the roof section that I care about cleared, with DW steadying the ladder. Quite pleasant weather to do the work in, though the wind started picking up right near the end. I'm really glad it's done, since we're looking at several days of freeze/thaw cycles, exactly the conditions for ice dams to occur.

None of them have been injured, thankfully.

If anyone wants to try rayon wicking, I just refreshed my supply, have way more than enough. The 3lb cellucotton rayon box is 10" x 10" x 22", filled with rayon coil. It's 900' per I've reference I've found. 1' is enough for about 16 wicks for 3mm ID coils.

I got all 3 of my rf orders today. Made 4 test mixes so far. Only have one more 15ml bottle ATM and that's going to be for mixing Marks ADV. Hope to do that tomorrow. I'm sure I can also free up a couple more 15ml bottles also and finish my sample mixes.

I started with a 40' box from Amazon. The 3lb was less than twice the cost, and over 20x as much rayon. (I'm still using my original 40' box, just wanted to restock while I thought of it).

I still have a couple hundred OCC pads that I'll never use, and a sample of supima gold cotton. I'm pretty firmly in the rayon camp, since it matches how I naturally like to wick.

Excellent [emoji5] The cellucotton really works nicely. Pack it tightly in the coil body fluff and thin the tails. Do a couple of draws and short priming firings after it's wet, about 5 - 10 seconds total time at fairly low power, to help it settle in, then it should be good to go.
