We had 1/2" of rain today :(

Dee a few years ago I almost bought a Traeger but I found out it didn't get truly hot enough for steaks. My niece bought one last year and they now can get a great sear. I'm not familiar with the Rec Tec.

Last year I went to ECC and they had Nic Salts. I tried a few flavors and found a Mango I liked but didn't buy it. I did buy a Suorin Air though. It's a nice little high Ω low Watt. A bit ago I had to buy another cartridge and they had nic salts and grabbed a Mango. I bought 25mg, you can get 30 or 50mg as well. It's like a modern version of the old cartomiser and a stick battery. I'm getting a nice little throat hit and 3mls last a long time.
I found a company and bought 100mg PG. That was a mistake, I mix 70/30 vg pg and it was too much pg for the recipe. I just got the vg yesterday.... and the funny thing is the 100vg has an amazing freshly roasted coffee aroma (TY Good Sir)

If interested here's the Nic Salt liquidnicotinewholesalers.com/

Here's a good high Ω Low W device I go yesterday as well. Warlock Peas

Wharf, The Woodwind from Camp Chef has a sear box attached for doing a reverse sear on steaks...Camp Chefs are also capable of 500* and I believe the Traegars get near that temp....The Rec Tec is also capable of 500* plus....I'll try smoking the steaks and just before target temp fire it on high...I like a sear and if that's not adequate I got a couple of small charcoal grills I can have at the ready with a super hot fire for the sear....

I bought a climbing stand to get the cable up in the trees I had to cut....The cables had to go a little higher than I was comfortable with and I never unboxed the stand....I'd also come up with the slingshot idea and that worked well....deer stand was taking up space for a couple of months....I needed to go too Sam's nearby Field and Stream where the stand came from....I took the ticket and proceeded on down....It's outta the 60 day return window but I convinced the manager to hit me with a store credit....I got a mach daddy fishing rod for Christmas from Mom and have a reel picked out that was pretty close in price but F&S can't get it....Also been meaning on getting one of the high dollar coolers in the small size to keep my water cold when out in the boat & such...The little Yeti is also near the price of the stand so I guess I'll make the exchange for that here in a bit....

On car brake lathes cost 5~10K new....A buddy had mentioned he was in the market....I spied one on auction at USPS garage and it was the top brand and the price was low....Well the price doubled but I managed to win the bidding war....I picked it up yesterday and found nearly all the attachments still in the factory packaging unused....the lathe was as new as well....Drove it 10 miles across town and tripled my money....There was another different style lathe on the auction and I'm kicking myself for not getting involved in that auction...It sold @8 hundred and my search revealed the cheapest I could find at 3500....DANG!!!!!!!! I'm back on the hunt...

Another fine day in sunny CNY.

Net we got about 8" yesterday, that I cleared late in the afternoon, follwed by 6" of powder overnight. I just drove through the powder this morning, will probably snowblow it when I get home tonight.

I canceled my pulse order with 3f (probably credit to account, which I'm fine with), will reorder when the new pricing comes out.

Dangitt!!!! I was looking forward to the Pulse with the VooPoo chip....They can keep their dang old chip and anything else they make......

Yeti exchange went well and was the same price as the tree stand down to the last red cent....Probably the best made cooler but that status symbol Yeti sticker makes me cringe just a little....

Whole thing with the big old grill is Cuzzo runs a restaurant about 100 feet down the street....Plans are to cook 3 or 4 pork butts and then hand pull the meat...Offer it up as the daily special once a week and hopefully make a little change....This is the South and I'm thinking it could turn out well.....

Sleet and snow a couple days back....62* forecast with winds @35 mph....Maybe at least it will dry up some of the muck and mud...No tree cutting today either....

We went to Keene to get hubs prescriptions and when we got back here we couldn't make it up the hill that was all slushy. Went all the way around but couldn't make it up the back side either. Went to the town shed and lucked out that the road agent was there who is a friend. He went up and down the hill 4 times scrapping it down and sanding. We finally made it home.
While we were waiting for our road agent,2 cars,1 truck and 1 van went up the hill. None made it.

The tires on our car aren't the best and the truck tires are bad. I've been trying to save money for tires but it has to be one or the other. It's going to be the truck cause it's 4wd. Car can sit for all I care.It will be awhile before it gets tires anyway.

3fvape got back to me. They've poked around, reached out to both vandy Vape and voopoo, think things may straighten out. They suggested I hang onto my pre order for now, to keep my slot for delivery.

That's good news for me. 3f has no skin in the game (I would have just taken a shop credit), but are an official VandyVape reseller, as well as voopoo, and seem to be a decent sized shop. I've had consistently positive interactions with them.

We had that wind yesterday, Dee. No, I wouldn't want to be doing any tree work in that.

Glad your friend was able to get your road passable, Fran.

    Feeling almost human again, finally.
Lucky our friend is the road agent. Super nice guy.

Good morning,Bov:) Glad you're feeling better.

Well I had planned on starting my lumberjacking today....HAD......Cuzzo just called and asked if I'd help his Son this afternoon....He's in film school and shooting today....Mom just called with dead batteries in her tv remote and said her shower wasn't draining....With the septic not finished I got the shower temporarily watering the flower bed with only a p-trap the possible clog....Then tomorrow a memorial service for one Cuzzo and later a shower for another Cuzzo who's tying the knot....I'm avoiding the memorial because it just is what it is....Another Cuzzo said she'd give Mom a ride home if I'd drop her at the shower....Thinking about shooting the phone and putting it out of my misery.....

Then old Sis up and decides the beach house needs new flooring.....Well the rear bath is new and the front tub has a crack and can't be used and the back door used for access is falling apart....then there's the landscaping I was working on and can now add upgrades with my back hoe and let's not forget the septic line and my shop needs a roof....Truth is the flooring is mobile home grade and not very glamorous but not in bad shape either...Sis and Bro in Law added a faucet to the kitchen and used those shark bite slide on fittings that will work with the trailer's plumbing unless they don't and blow off....It's Quest and no longer used....I got Pex adapters and tooling to update sitting at the ready....So add that to the list.....Sis might best watch some flooring videos on the YouTube.......All the while I'm getting Mom's car ready for sale and giving 100% of the money to my Niece to put on her first car....Can't be seen driving the Accord....again with the glamorous stuff.....

First things first though...For years I've been looking a shifter knob like my Unk once had on a GMC transfer truck...Clear and full of glitter...I'd seen some at the truck stop years back with Peterbilt logos but they were long outta production....Unk made the move to Kenworths in 1974...He passed @ 10 years back and trust I worshipped the ground he walked on....He went to Europe in WW2 and was busted for possession of sugar upon his return....never mind they dynamited his still the sugar sent him too Raleigh for 2 years....Well low and behold I found a clear glitter Kenworth shift knob that just happens to fit a Dodge....It's glamorous....I'll be in hiding if you need me and don't bother calling as the phone is experiencing technical difficulties....aka I turned that sum beech OFF!!!!!!!

I played low and avoided everyone yesterday and am doing the same today....Managed to get the Dodge vacuumed and my Husky floor liners installed....added the KW shift knob and the console extension cup/PV holder....Been holding a pair of Weathertec floor liners for the Tacoma....Gonna vacuum it today and get the liners installed....The Huskys in the Dodge look like they will trap @99% of the dirt and vacuuming isn't something I enjoy.....Floated Mom's car past Unk who had begged for it a couple of months ago....He turned it down but fretted and woke me up this am still fretting.....4500 for my Niece or it sits until no matter who or what...Now he wants to come and look at it and I assume will try and beat me down....I really hope he does.....
