I've got a 20700 that got a little wear on the positive side wrap from the Pulse...The Pulse isn't the easiest mod I've ever changed a battery in......it is what it is....This morning I popped that battery in the charger and it didn't align correctly...Was gonna line it up with my index finger and was rewarded with a nice blister...In a flat 1/2 second that battery went from cold to extremely hot and well on it's way to boom city...take my advice if the battery has wear chunk it....

If the battery still has useful life why not just rewrap it.

That battery is rather black on the positive end....I don't trust it so therefore I'm not re-wrapping it....

Rant time.....Dang Capital One pulling a DirectV.....$0 balance on a card I've had forever....$19 yearly fee....Due 7/27....New computer so can't access site....Phone call after the 3 ways provided to access didn't work....Access granted and also received a $19 credit for being a long time customer....Great!!! I check back and don't see the credit reflected....Give them the benefit and check back 7/28 and find $19 + $19 late fee....I call and they swear 3 days later all will be square...I check back and the $19 is paid but the $19 late fee is still there....So 25 failed attempts to log in and pay....2 phone calls that send one through Hades before finally someone from Pakistan gets on the phone and still I owe $19.....My thinking now is cancellation....My bet is that is gonna take some time as well....They're getting one more phone call and that's THAT!!!

Last I saw there was a cold front stalled to the West and a Low Pressure System stalled too the Southeast....Funneling Atlantic moisture directly over us....It's been raining/cloudy/tremendous storms for weeks now....Gonna slide to too the beach and try and cut the grass that's been rolling along for at least 3 weeks with more than enough rain for record growth....Got a couple/3 friends on the FB that live there and it's not looking promising for any break in the weather....I've seen a lot of flooding pics the last few days from down East...Either way I'm getting the Hades out of here for a minute.....

Sweet house, Bov [emoji5]

Another year wiser, Wharf!

My knee continues to improve. Yesterday I did a 2 mile walk; 35 minutes, near my normal fast pace. This morning on the exercycle I'm up to about 315 degrees range of motion on the peddles (45 more and I'll be able to peddle full revolutions, instead of going in each direction). Honestly, as today is only 2 weeks since getting it operated on, I'd say it's going well. Another couple of good walks today, more range of motion sets, and all should be good.

Today the 2 mile walk is under 32 minutes - I'll take it [emoji5]

Mark, that’s some great progress with your knee in just two weeks! Awesome and I hope for a full recovery that has you better than new my friend! :)

ElDee, beat feet if a .... storm is headed your way!

Bov, love the new digs and like everyone else, I can’t wait to see what you do to it! Enjoy your new HOME! <3

Fran, how are you and hubs doing? You’re always in my thoughts and prayers. <3

Wharf, my heart did a happy dance to read all about your Japanese adventure with the Mrs and Miss Kia! Pictures were the icing on the cake! :)

Hi Jerry! Hope all is well with you. :)

Ex hubs is still in the klink! Awaiting extradition to NJ. Possible hearing for that today. Idk, my girls have been calling so many numbers trying to get a forward motion on this. Poor things, deserve NONE of this aggravation and be damned sure we WILL have words about it all upon his release. Take that to the bank. ;)

Wonderful progress on your recovery, Mark!

I'm beat! Cable guy had to come out and reconnect to the pole, so I just got my internet going a couple of hours ago. I have stuff scattered everywhere, but things will come together as I clean and organize.

Tracy, you know this is gonna be a country cottage ;) I had already planned to make all my curtains from canvas drop cloths, good for me that Harbor Freight has theirs on sale this week for $6 each...4x12ft. I bought 8 today

Chase seems to have decided this is his home, and I'm so glad he's comfy here. I had to call Carlos yesterday after I discovered one of the hvac vents had dropped it's ductwork. He came to fix it, and Chase checked him out good while Carlos was laying on the floor reattaching the duct. Not a single bark! That is unheard of with Chase!! He sniffed till he was satisfied and went back to his bed.

The mortgage app has moved from the processor to the underwriter :)

Bov our newlywed Love Shack was 680sf. There were NO interior doors, but it did have drape across the bathroom door.... LOVE your abode !!! We are all waiting to see the final product !!!

Facetimed Kia Monday and had a great chat... Mrs Wharf and Kia know many of LDee's posts. So when I told Kia LDee wears Doc's she got a Big Sheeet Eating grim and said DAMN RIGHT !!!

I hope all are doing well !

An excellent day on Cape Cod.

DW and I checked out a few beaches and lighthouses, then ended up staying at Marconi Beach for several hours. We walked past where most of the people were, and were rewarded by over 20 seals gathering just offshore; one of the baby seals even came onshore for a few minutes, only 50' away [emoji5]

We then wandered up to Provincetown, a late lunch at the Lobster Pot (recommended to us by a ranger at the beach). Awesome food with a beautiful view of the water; clam chowder, steamers, seafood stuffed lobster, and stellar scallops.

After lunch we walked around town, then went lighthouse hunting again. Sunset we caught at Skaget Beach.

Tomorrow morning is more Cape time, then off to Boston in the afternoon.
