Oh nice! Down to 60 for us tomorrow night! I hadn't checked the weather until now.

My kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts are thermofoil vinyl wrapped mdf, so that will be a project for cooler weather. I can't afford to replace, so I plan to use my blow dryer to "unwrap" them, sand, and paint. Walls and ceilings thru out the whole house need painting too, but not one more penny out of my pocket is going into the house until we close. Owner called today, said if we can't close by Monday or Tues, he's gonna need more rent money...sheeett!

My cabinets are MDF as well....exotic wood grained MDF...As long as that stuff stays dry it's good to go for the most part....Not really sure that wrap can be successfully removed....Being that house isn't large I would assume the cabinetry not overly complex...My point being the used cabinet market is good....I check the re-store warehouse and habitats on the regular...The craigs also has the materials section....The re-store in Fayetteville has cabinets out the ying yang....We hung a couple of 2 door cabinets in Cuzzo's storehouse last winter....Solid oak and 35 a piece....I found one 4 door cabinet that fit perfectly over my washer/dryer....It's oak as well...looked like most of the used cabinet market was pretty high end stuff coming from the well to do side of town....The broke folks ain't doing much remodeling I guess....there could be anything in those restore places and often I get stuff I hadn't no intention of buying....I also follow a place in Florence/Darlington called the So-Lina Auction on the FB....that place is loaded with the unusual/old and antique stuff....

    I know, Fran

Thanks for the ideas, Dee. We have a big salvage store in Columbia too, I just haven't been over there to check it out yet. I've been popping in the local thrift stores here, but like I said...not buying anything until I have this house deal wrapped up.

    Hi all!

It's been a super bizzy summer, between a couple of short vacations, knee surgery, and work. We haven't hag add much camp time a I'd like, but when we're there we've been extending the point into the lake; it's almost done, and the grass is coming in nicely [emoji5]

Has anyone tried the new Vandy Vape squonker ??? Think it's called the Simple and is only variable voltage...Looks pretty sweet too me....Gotta make that payment tomorrow and thought I'd add a little extra ca$h for the purchase...Needing a couple of 20700s and my dang 18650s have mostly left the building...Still using the 18s in my flashlight and pretty sure the Simple runs them.
