The new mower did a good job on my yard, with just a bit of battery left over when I was finished. And yes, Dee, it's a bit awkward for me to get the battery into the mower spot, but with time I'm sure I'll get better at clicking it in. I did have a casualty tho...I forgot to pick up my $2 rubber door mat. It's rubber mulch now 
Oh, and if you haven't had a Tetanus shot in the last 6-8 years please think about going to get one, Dee! That foot sounds nasty.

So last night my email stayed lit with e-signatures and Closing Disclosure documents flying back and forth between myself and my lender. Everything is ready, and now it's just a matter of showing up at the real estate attorney's office Friday at 3pm to sign everything else...and hand over the cashier's check!! Paying my seller rent for this month while we waited was equal to 2.5 house payments, so I'm glad I don't have to that again. I asked Pokey to be my Maid of Honor for the ceremony and she said yes
I bet I'll have some of that ugly crying of my own, Tracy!
Oh, and if you haven't had a Tetanus shot in the last 6-8 years please think about going to get one, Dee! That foot sounds nasty.

Yes I had to sit on the engagement news until they finished out their vacation, returned home and received their professional portraits via email. (It was killing me too!)
Miss Madison has a birthday tomorrow! It’s her last full day of this week as they’re off fri and mon for holiday.
In law getting to know each other picnic on Saturday and then taking our pool down on Sunday. You can bet I am looking forward to all the August shenanigans (3 bdays, school shopping, back to school, engagement stuffs) being wrapped up and just relaxing some.

The 5 in 1... or as we called it.. The 64 in 1. My partner and I had a painting business and we called the 64 in 1 because it did almost everything, not all for good. My fav was the 64th, it gave me 25 years clean and sober LOL

Last night my foot was hurting like Hades...Bled some overnight and was pretty sore this am...Hey....I had sheet to do so I loaded up and went to Lowes for stain...Figured I could use a shopping buggy as a walker...Some damn dude with a buggy loaded like the Clampetts nearly ran me over twice....All the walking took most of the soreness out of my foot...I came back and waited for the sun to go down and finished the back portion of the deck....That deck is shining like a diamond in a goat's behind....Breezeway and front porch remain...

I'll probably spend this weekend BREATHING! I think I've been holding my breath for months...and working to bring together this whole plan for years. Knowing that Katie is safe and happy, signing the final paperwork on this house, and knowing that I have so many great friends cheering me on fills me with a gratitude I can't even describe

Cuzzo wants me to ride down to the Re-Store Warehouse in Fayetteville today....I get updates on the donations and they have several French doors....His has rotted out....He better call soon as I've got a paint brush waiting...First coat on the railing I built a couple weeks back....I'll be damn glad when there are no more pickets needing stain....Ran outta steam before I got the lattice below the railing done....Well steam and the fact there's dirt on the lattice that would require a brush and blower to remove....Using the blower with the railing dripping wet wouldn't work....I'll just keep chipping away until done....
Foot still jacked up but so far not getting infected....I figure as long as there's nothing inside my foot hopefully there will be no infection....Wound opened up a little when I got into the Dodge yesterday for the millionth trip too Lowes....Damn old grass is raising Hades but I'm staining until done....Fekk the grass....
