Here's hoping Katie has a Happy Birthday !!!

Yeah the heat and all the different contortions staining that deck have beat me down...Left knee has had enough...Not enough Mom didn't try and add two handrails I built on some rock steps heading to the shop....That's her MO....Not satisfied the septic tank works....not satisfied the deck is stained....not satisfied the grass is cut....Truth is one of those rails is fine but I had great difficulty finding 2 2X4s for the top rails and one could stand replacing though it's OK for now.....Kinda boils my blood after all I've done to be asked for more....Still I only replied with a firm NO....Imagine after 2 huge projects the condition of everything else that needs upkeep....Meanwhile Sis' family on a cruise and sheet such....BiL asked what I'd been working on last night at Niece's BD dinner...He's a lot of help....At any rate I'm standing firm....I got sheet of my own that needs doing and that's what's gonna get done....Sorry for beech but MFers don't appreciate nothing....

Well from here it looks like the weather in Japan is rather unstable....and the ground shakes....Glad your Precious is safe !!!

Sorry for the rant but that sheet had to come out...Got a final coat on the steps that got rained on and used what I had left to throw a third coat on the back deck floor....Little pinch of stain left so I hammered another coat on the rained on steps....last I saw them they were looking sweet....100% of 7 gallons gone....Pull some tape when it gets dry and that deck is done....Unk's pressure washer blew up this am....Years back Mom insisted I buy an electric pressure washer for her to use...I did....she never touched it....I went out and got the pressure tips it was missing....serviced it and sold it too Unk....One thing I absolutely hate is when someone posts an item for sale and then lists what needs done and it's usually listed as an easy fix.....Didn't want Unk having to go out and buy tips and those tips are very specific to the machine so I did it myself......Auntie had him working and he called late saying he would pick it up tomorrow....I'm resting up for a few days myself....maybe

I got the vapefly galaxies mtl rdta in from Daniel today.

This is an awesome setup for me, a high flavor bf rdta for maximum 2.5mm id single coil use. I'm running a 0.4 ohm twisted 26 kanthal coil on the pulse 80w, at 28w - superb flavor, nice warmth; nudge it up to 32 or 33w and the warmth really increases.

Production quality is excellent, very clean machining. Twist the restrictor screws for the angled side airflows 4 full turns and you get a solid restricted lung vape. No press fit parts. A 2ml tank, fills easily with one moderate squonk. Very compact, nicely domed, chamber

No apologies needed, Dee! Those rants have to be let loose or they will come flying out at a later time! How well I remember that ungratefulness. Katie meant no harm with her endless list of projects...the ex? Pfftt, glad to have finally closed the door on the kindness I gifted him.

Mark, glad you're liking your new setup. Looking forward to getting my storage stuff delivered so I can unpack all the mods that are not with me right now. Delivery and helper set up for tomorrow!

New tv shipped, and I cheated on the tv stand. Found one on sale for cheaper than I could have built one...gotta love Labor Day sales. It got good reviews for quality, we'll see when it gets here.

Speaking of tv, I discovered my cable (Time Warner/Charter/Spectrum) has an a'la cart streaming live tv deal that they don't advertise. I got all local channels + 10 cable network channels of my choice for $21.99 a month rate locked for 2 years, no contract. It's perfect for me :)

That RDTA sounds very interesting....The 20700s I really like....If a tank lasted as long as the battery that would be nice...Had planned on getting a Simple over the LD Holiday...Had a good code and everything. Your mention there were new Pulse models on the way changed my mind...I'd go squonk completely but carrying them around is definitely a problem.....I'd love a more ergonomic design that fits at least an 18650.....

It's hot as 40 Hells outside....A little rest went a long way so a little more is in order...Thinking the major accomplishment for the day will be getting my motorcycle washed...Still can't ride as I'm unable to put a shoe on still...Did a close exam of the stab wound in my foot last night...Wound looks fine and no sign of infection...Still sore but I do believe that dang tool hit the bone pretty hard...Well on the way to recovery but it was jacked up pretty good.....Hurricane Florence @125mph Cat3 and heading in this general direction....Position looks a little high on the map and most models have it turning but still I got an eye on that situation...That little handheld weather radio I spent up on still shows a full battery after almost a year of use...Thinking I'll charge it anyway...On buying verses building....The cart I still haven't used to remove the backhoe from the Kubota I could have welded up....I gotta buy steel/paint/wheels....I had an online design...Best estimation materials were $125 + or -....that always = +....2 more than likely 3 days with a lot of wait time...I got it shipped for 225 and 20 minutes assembly plus a can of paint to touch it up where UPS scratched it...Three days gained for less than a 100 bucks....Mom always kept something going...She always tried to do things on the cheap and that often added more work from the git and often the job had to be done again later...That's why I use the overkill method when doing things...Now she can't do things but she can still make plans....It gets irritating but I try and brush it off....Thanks for letting me get it off my chest from time to time......

DW mentions how I over-build. I'll only give in occasionally, on things I can redo easily, since there's a consistent track record of things I do my way staying okay, while items where a shortcut was taken need rework.

Fran, how is Hubs doing?

UPS delivered my new TV yesterday afternoon. Do yall know how big a 55" TV is?!?! Gives new meaning to "go big or go home!" I love that it's light enough for me to move around easily tho, and my living room and bedroom both are of ample size to accommodate the size. My old plasma in Ct was 50" and since I will be sitting farther away from the new one, I figured 55" would be a more comfortable view, and I was right. The Roku platform was easy to set up, as was the wifi connection, and the Spectrum app. So far I'm pleased with the whole deal...can't beat the price for internet + streaming package for right at $50 a month. The TV stand will be here today, wish me luck putting it together

My u-box is supposed to be coming today too, but I haven't heard a peep from the 3rd party mover who is supposed to bring it and unload it for me. At least he doesn't get paid until I give him the approval code once the job is done.

Glad your foot is healing well, Dee! And glad to know you are resting up.

So glad to know Hubs is doing well

Fired the first moving crew and cancelled payment to them after confirming with Uhaul that they hadn't picked up my storage box. Hired another crew who is bringing it today. Made sure this crew understood I fired the other for lack of communication, so their boss called 3 times yesterday to keep me informed about setting up with Uhaul, etc :)

No pics yet Fran. I was up to my eyeballs in cam bolts, screws, and Chinese instructions for putting together the tv stand. It's together...mostly! Haven't installed the glass doors yet, may just leave them off for easier access to the lower shelves.

I deflated and packed up my air mattress...my bed better be here today or I'ma need bail money

    Hi all!

It's an off Friday, caught up on mowing at home, now at cramp work DW and the pooches.

I'm still really loving the galaxies mtl rdta, ordered a second, so I can leave one on the p80w and the other on a mech. $15 via the aliexpress app, using one of their frequent $4 off coupons [emoji3]

Simple ex came in, running it with some 9mg spearmint. It is tiny, and a nice vape. Definitely not something to replace my bigger gear, but I'll likely carry it in the car for times when I want something very compact, discreet.

Looks to be a rough week ahead....Just watched the Weather Underground where they show the more accurate IMO European Model hurricane forecast....Wednesday Hurricane Florence is forecast directly off the coasts of NC/SC and spinning @130mph....Euro model has it hitting South of Myrtle Beach, SC and taking a right turn to my house.....It's gonna be powerful....it's gonna be close.....more than likely it's gonna make landfall...Going down with BiL tomorrow and pull his boat back with my dually....Gonna cut the grass while there then return and start battening the damn hatches....If dire straits are expected I'm returning to the beach beforehand to tape up a couple of windows and such....Grab anything from the house that can't be replaced....I'm hoping something changes and that damn hurricane turns.....
