Doc said with all he's seen he expects no significant blockages....I'm scheduled for a cauterization and an advanced echocardiogram Wednesday at 12pm....Advanced echo shows amount of blood being pumped and valve leakage/operation....I again today refused the script for a statin drug....First off I believe my test was done at a bad time for me....Secondly I can fix that with diet....Thirdly....Well if I got bad blockages let's handle that before we worry about other things....I dropped the vapor like a hot rock....If it's gotta be salads every frikkin meal then salads it will be....Just how I roll....Mom was on a statin years back and having issues....A sheet ton of info has passed through my brain since but the statins are not good for you is still in there....Fix one thing and frigg up 15 isn't cutting the mustard....Wednesday at 12....dang High Noon....Wish me luck
    Keeping you in my prayers,Dee:)

Test #2 we will all still be thinking of you!
I can recall not being pleased when my dad was put on statins although I can not remember the details. I called his doctors office and was told with some patients it was necessary and the benefits outweighed the negatives.
I do believe if it’s possible to correct with dietary changes, that would be my first choice too.

Hey wharf, did ya reschedule your test, or how did it go? Thinking of you as well bud!

Sounds like encouraging news, Dee. I've also resisted my Dr's push for cholesterol meds because in the past, I couldn't find one that didn't give me the muscle pain. Praying for more good news from your tests next Wed.

Been thinking about you too @Wharf Rat Check in when you can

Bella snapped a buckle on her outside lead this morning! Don't know if she saw a squirrel, or the local feral cat, but I DO know all the neighbors got to see me running down the street in my nighty, trying to catch her!! Fortunately, she came when I called her. No one needs that kind of scare before coffee...me or the neighbors

Thanks... I was supposed to have the stress test on the 4th. I had called Friday the 1st to find out what time Monday and found out they didn't book the test. It was rescheduled for this Tuesday.
Kia and BF are flying back Monday and then heading to Disneyland for auditions on Friday.

Good luck with the test Wharf.....

I've never been able to alter resin tips without complete failure....Drill bit will likely crack the tip...I'd hit the HF for a small carbide grinding bit and chuck that in the drill....Then go at it really slowly....

Good luck to Wharf, Kia and her bf!

I have never tried altering a tip, Bov. Been awhile since I got new vape gear.

I did just pull the trigger on an OBS kit. The darn $10 off code made me do it. Ha!

If you guys saw the boxes and boxes of vape gear that I have not even unpacked since the move, you would know ho ridiculous it is that I placed an order. I must quit looking at it online. I did well for so long!

If you have access to a dremel, I'd suggest that. One of those Christmas tree shaped grinding bits. Clamp it in a vise, use the dremel from the bottom side.

(I mod my low cost mechs to punch up their performance. A dremel has worked well for both 3d printed and resin. )

    Otherwise, a 5/16" bit.

That's exactly what I did, Mark...well not exactly since I don't have a vice. I used my tiny dremel with a drill bit to get a hole started from the bottom side, then used the tree shaped grinding bit to finish it off. Worked like a dream, took me longer to find my little dremel than it did to bore out the drip tip :)

Mark,I got home from my daughter's yesterday and my pkg was waiting for me. The coffee smells wonderful and I really love this Aspire Kit. I didn't know what to expect as I'd never heard of an Aspire Tigon kit. I really like getting back to using a tube mod. It's been awhile. I don't often look at new stuff anymore as my income is now a whooping $667 a month.

Buwhahaha!!!! Quoted for posterity. Now we need to start calling Bov, Bob!

J/K I am sure that she had been called worse though.

Haha!! My mom was going to name me Robert Edward if I'd been a boy! Probably the funniest name I've been called was when my niece was little...she couldn't say Debi, so she called me Aunt Booby

Fran, I completely understand living on such a low income as mine is only about $100 more a month that yours :( I hope you'll look into whatever help you might qualify for from the state, if you haven't already. I used to be ashamed to use my food stamp card, but now when I hear the inevitable groan from someone in line behind me, I stare them straight in the eye. And if it weren't for Medicaid, I'd be screwed. Never, ever forget that we've paid our dues...in taxes, in service to others, in paying it forward when we were/are able!!
