Thank you for your opinion and advice, Dee. I agree on the double, triple measuring, as well as only buying one at first, to give it a fit test.

Dorian isn't playing around! I'm stocked fairly well on bottled water, non perishables, batteries, candles, etc. Will be gathering lawn chairs, etc and stuffing it all in my shed. Will move my car to the north treeless side of the house. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

Bro in Law wants his boat off the coast so I'm gonna go and tow it tomorrow. Spent today at the house we're cleaning out for Cuzzo's ex....I got the fridge as the one at the beach died....That fridge is big and old....I may just upgrade and dump the old one....Past towing that boat and measuring the house door for fridge clearance the rest of the week is preparation time....Dorian is at 185 now....Not looking good for us at all....

With Dorian staying off the eastern Florida coast and up near Dee by Thursday, Tampa should be ok. But I sure understand how you feel, Tracy! At the moment, the prediction for Pokey and me is 30-40mph winds and rain starting Wed night.

I think Salem is just a tad west of Charleston so I don't know if she is in the mandatory evac zone or not.

Praying for you and yours, Dee...especially your beach house

I've got it on the weather channel now....Tampa is clear and the threat will be well past when the young 908 arrives....Dorian has made that right turn and is heading this way....Charleston is another place where Dorian is forecast to turn....Hit or miss IMO....The whole thing just depends on how close it comes and there's still a possibility it comes ashore around Carolina Beach....That's @ 35 miles as the crow flies from the beach house...Tis what it is.....not the first not the last....I'll be on double duty until the winds die down....Thanks for the thoughts and prayers....

Well Dorian's clouds have arrived....Time to move the trailers away from trees...I need to grab some gas and water....Still looking like Dorian is gonna hit very near the beach house....Florence almost blew a huge pine down....you can see the roots coming up....it killed the pine....leaning right at the storage building and I only saw it dead and leaning @3 weeks back....To late now to do anything about it....We're gonna ride it out and it's time to saddle up.....

Hoping there isn't much riding out to do here. As of right now, we're in the 2-3inches of rain and mild to moderate (30-40mph) wind range. As Dee said, it's always subject to change. Lots of clouds today, and should start seeing outer bands around midnight.

Hang in there, Dee!

I've got all the things done possible in preparation....Gotta try and rest until the winds arrive....Last I saw between midnight and dawn here was gonna be the worst....Winds could hit 60 here....Again the last I saw....I did see Dorian had gained 5mph and back to Cat3....It's gonna be nasty and even nastier at the beach house....Heard landfall predicted very near the house....Jim Cantore was spotted @30 miles south of the trailer...I met him before Bertha and a couple months later before Fran...Jim put me and my little crew on the Weather Channel multiple times....We were all hanging out in the Sandpiper Bar that was destroyed by Fran....

Got the Weather Channel on now....Looks like Bov is on the edge of Tropical Storm level....Good Luck with the wind !!!! They're saying we could have bad flooding here and of course the wind....Not my first rodeo....I'll be safe and will check in when I can....Should I lose power post storm I'll FB on the phone...Dee

Wharf, where are my manners?!?! I forgot to address your post in mine!
Awesome news for Max and Kia!!!! How proud you and the Mrs must be!

Thanks Tracy, it was kinda set up for the winner... But Kia and Max were very happy.

Yeah I forgot about Max and Kia a

No worries Dee

Kia and Max were flying our of LAX on Monday morning and got there about 5:30am. At 6:30 they were delayed. Then deplaned for technical, not weather. At 8:40 and still grounded in LA. At this point, there were words that should not be said here.
By 1:30pm they were happily in Las Vegas.

It's been 4 months since I had the stents inserted. For about 4 day I was vaping 6 mg. I had a couple of 0 mg bottles of the same juice and started vaping the zero nic. In the next 2 months I'd take a puff here and there.
Somewhere in mid August I didn't vape that day... then the next and them I forgot... just like that... Don't really know the day.
My first Vape day Aug 23, 2010... So I will use Aug 23, 2019 as my quit day. It has been much easier to quit than I thought.

ElDee, bov and pokey,
Prayers continue for you all. Hugs

Wharf! How exciting!!! Congratulations on your quit bud, intentional or not, that’s amazing news and I am happy for you!

Electrical issue going on here at my house so I will spend this day off of work here at home with a friend trying to get it sorted out. No worries, I’ll just be getting in some extra cardio, climbing the basement and second floor steps to the circuit box.

The many joys of home ownership!

Congrats Wharf!! Unintentional quitting is a great feeling

Tracy, good luck on the electrical issues!

All good here, so far. We are under a Tropical Storm Warning, but so far there are no limbs or trees down in my yard. Buckets of rain, and gusty winds, but not bad so far. Just talked to Pokey and all is well o her side of town. We still have a good 12 hours or so before we're in the clear.

Still praying for you, Dee!
