Hola compadres!!
New here, not so new to vaping, from NYC, still kinda hanging between analogs and my iStick 30W with a Nautilus Mini tank, I see all the new awesome mods out there, but truthfully most are beyond my wallet, I usually watch reviews right up to the point when the cost is announced LOL. Really need to find the one mod kit that is priced affordably for me and can give me the big hit that I get from analogs hopefully give up the analogs :)

Hi @Susan~S and thank you! Anytime I check prices on mods, anything over $100, I shy away from, being here in NY the cost is already alot more than elsewhere but I'd like to find something that can give a strong mouth to lung hit and have a tank that is more than 2.5ml but I really don't want to spend over $100 for it, while my iStick works for now I'm always searching for the one that's going to "work" for me.

Hi Paul, Welcome to ECF! I would recommend the JoyTec eVic VTC and Tron Tank Kit 75 watts it is a nice set up for less that $60.00 on eBay. I have two of them that I use for work. Get back up's you will need them if something breaks.
I was just looking at this kit, I may have to give this one a try, Thank you Winchester!

Ello mate, and welcome to the ECF. gratz' on the signup & 1st post. (almost wrote pote... lol. post!)

anyways.. I was/am in your boat, as I don't currently work. (most of what I own today as-far as mods and tanks is all from back when I did, haha) so most APVs Tanks and RBAs are out of my $$ range too. haha. I was wondering WHAT your price-range might BE, as-far as what you r willing to spend for an awesome mod and tank combo... considering you've already got a pretty great set-up as it is. You should have no issues making a complete switch over to vaping with an istick30 and nautilus. If you're blaming not switching completely on the hardware......... It's not the hardware, bro. lol.

but if you're trying to say you'd like to take a plunge and buy a higher quality mod + tank combo, just to feel confident & proud of your set-up, I do understand. If $100 & under is your price range, I would recommend the Evic Mini w/ Tron Tank kit, with two batts, maybe an RDA, a 5 pack of the rebuildable coils for the Tron Tank, some Kanthal/Cotton, and you'd be good to go! Highly recommended.

Welcome to ECF & Enjoy the vape journey, bro.

I am not familiar with the Tron tank but the eVic VTC Mini is a great mod. I use a Kanger Subtank Mini on mine.

I often use vapeCrawler to see who has the best pricing. If I only want to see suppliers from the USA I make sure USA is "green" and all the others are "gray". If you go down to the very bottom of the page you can see all the vaping websites vapeCrawler searches.

Hi,
Not sure what nicotine level you are using.... but you might want to consider upping it a bit to give yourself the hit that you feel you need to keep you off the analogues. Much cheaper than buying a new kit or tank. The kit you have is more than capable of producing the level of vapour that you need but if the nicotine level is not high enough you will not feel satisfied.

I'd be inclined to try Layzee Vaper's advice before jumping into new kit at this stage...you could find that six months down the line your ideas and tastes have changed considerably - mine certainly have since I started vaping.

One of the truest things I have read on here is the slogan one of the guys on here uses; paraphrasing it it basically says that the answer may not be better kit but to work on getting the best out of the kit you have.

It might also be worth experimenting with the draw on your Mini - adjusting the settings can make quite a difference.

Welcome to the forum, good on you for your decision to take up vaping and thanks for an interesting read!

Agree with you on that assessment. May want to try 15/30ml of juice the next level up. If you're using 6% try a juice at 9/12% and see if it satisfies. You could even try a 5ml bottle like that from EC Blends for less than $3. If you find that works the trick, buy more juice at that level. If not, you're not out but a few bucks.
