Since I'm killing time here watching the PS site, I wonder if any of you can answer a totally unrelated question for me.

A while back my cds (which were ripped into, then burned on my media player) wouldn't play anywhere any more except on my computer.

So I went back and uninstalled all the updates, trying to get rid of what I assume was some protection program. Now my player has nothing. Just the music, no tabs to do anything with it.

Does anybody know which version of Media Player came out right before they instigated that annoying little software that has robbed me of fun? I just don't want to reinstall the most current version and be in the same situation....

I know, sorry, nothing to do with this forum...

Thanks, but that looks like a different program and I only want to update my Windows media player. Otherwise I'm afraid to lose the music I have in here already as it took way too much effort to accumulate it all!

ah well, not meant for here anyway, my bad.

the program wont do anything to your files. its just a alternative media player.

if you want to update your media player goto Microsoft Corporation and download the latest media player
