Ok my bad I went back and read a bit more. I want no1 for the RMS setting and not no2 correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to run it in the RMS mode where I get what I set it at.

Mode 1 is what you want.

There's a big difference between the output on VRMS and average - you'll experience burning a lot easier with the average setting because it's out in a big way.

Here's some Zmax readings (very similar output to the Vamo) which show RMS and the average voltages on the V1

Alright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First I want to give a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To DirkBongo, Had it not been for you pointing out this difference I never would have realilzed it was there. When I got it it was set to Mode 1 with the wattage displayed. 7 watts which is what I adjusted the kick to in my SB. I just got the chance to change over to mode 2 showing 7 watts. In mode 2 it reminds me of my vmax, which I can't stand if I set it over 4 volts and then it's to harsh. Even 3 volts on the vmax I had to go to a 3ohm carto to enjoy it. Once again Thank you sir for your help with this. I will recomend this product to anyone who want's to explore the world of VW devices on a budget.

Kinda sort of. Last night when I would change carto's in the vw setting, it would change the voltage to match. Today it never changes anything. The only way it will work now is in the VV mode. Which is fine, but just a flaw in the design of the device. After all we're talking about the complete device for the same price as just a "kick modual." This one also doesn't show battery life, and when you fire the button it stays on for just a moment even after you release it.

Thats why we own Provaris.... They allways work as advertised..... USA quality.

According to manufacturer website, it's reverse, mode 001 is AVG and mode 002 is RMS : Vamo VV Mod - HOT Sale e-cigarettes - Product Catalog - Shenzhen RainbowHeaven Technology Co., Ltd--electronic cigarette, e-cigarette, electronic cigarette suppliers

So what's right ?

Ok so now Im totally confused...........Being at work I dont get a chance to stop and check it out very long. So Mike your saying it feels more like the setting in mod num 2?
Wanted to say thank you to kevin. That's the most complete discription I've seen. The only other one was from Healthcabin.
I looked again at the link that Kevin supplied. That discription says the display will read 001 or 002. Mine goes from no1 to no2.

Ok I just took both devices outside. Same tank, Same juice. Your right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When it goes to mode "no2" it's got to be rms. When you push the buttons it changes and doesn't tell you it did. It just shows the number it's going to be in. (I wish I'd never have found this out, cause I've been trying to mess with it all day) That teaches me not to try to experment while at work. LOL. That gives it a bigger thumbs up now. GiMike what battery configuration are you running now? I'm just using a single 18350.

Hello,

I'll ordered mine today but I'll get it in nearly one month ( China registered airmail  ).

I'll try to explain how you can mesure the voltage and see if you are in RMS or AVG :

Set the device to 3V, if you are in AVG mode, the DC multimeter will give you... 3V, because it see 6V 50% of the time.

In RMS you must mesure 2,12V ( 3 x 0,707 ), I won't explain the maths here because I know how to do it but can explain it, I am French and my english is not good enough to explain maths formulas lol :p
