Hi Guys

I've been off analogs now for 3 months after smoking for 29 years. Last night we had our company year end function and just about half the office smokes. There was quite a bit of drinking and everyone enjoyed themselves, especially, as always, the smokers. Seeing everyone having fun and smoking up a storm I picked up a stinky. I've seen so many people on this forum saying stinkies taste terrible once you've vaped for a while so this was not a drink-induced act, I wanted to do it. Remember, I really, really enjoyed smoking tobacco. Well, after about 3 drags I had to put the thing out, I couldn't believe how terrible it tasted. It was really bad. It made me realize how awesome tasting vaping actually is. One of my colleagues is an occasional smoker and he tried my Provari and couldn't put it down. He drained my nautilus Mini in not too much time! He's actually out as we speak picking up a device from some B&M.

I am so glad I picked up that stinky. Now I know without a shadow of a doubt I will never go back to smoking. This really is a milestone for me,

vaping ROCKS!!

Cheers.

Chris

Good for you Chris!

same deal..we had a friend over two months ago that was chain smoking *(the last time I"ve let someone smoke in our home, it smells great now) but it nauseated me..I had to go out on the porch..then came back in and said no more smoking in the house..sorry we've quit.

I'd taken a drag of a friend's a couple weeks in..and Oh Yuck!! I"m with you..I loved smoking but I don't love what it's done to my lungs and how nasty it must've been for my non smoking friends my bestie said she'd have to wash her hair and clothes after we'd had a girly day in the car with me. Wow.

I'm confident I'm not going to smoke ever again...so lets all keep vaping around indefinitely!!! :)

yeah after tasting cigarettes after vaping, i couldnt believe how immune i was to the chemical-ly taste they produce. i honestly cant take a drag off a cigarette without trying to force myself not to gag, and this is coming from a 2pad smoker right before i completely quit. i used to be able to take long deep drags of cigarettes, but nowadays it feels like my body tells me im not supposed to be inhaling it, because the last time i tried a cigarette it took effort to take a small drag without gagging.

Wow, you all are brave. I quit smoking 4/11/13 after 30+ years. I've been vaping ever since. Every other time that I tried to quit smoking, I started again after feeling confident and bumming a cigarette while drinking or just standing around smokers. BAM!! I was back to 2 packs a day within what seems like hours. So, I've been afraid to even see if they taste as bad as everyone says and just keep vaping. I just don't want to smoke again, ever.

Congratulations to you all.

A big o'l congrats to you. I hope "we" never forget how bad it tasted. I know I was sort of afraid to go around my friends that smoked for a good while. But then when I did, the smell was enough to make me not even wanna try them again. Made me start going around and apologizing to everyone I'd ever smoked around.
