I do the RO and refill thing and always haul an ice chest with me. I'm in a rural area and have a steady 'city' water supply but the quality is unusable for drinking and cooking. But it beats having a well go dry! That happens all the time around here in the summer.

I just got the annual water quality report, yuck! 7 days in May they were in violation of the Safe Drinking Water Act, but didn't notify us till July?!!!! They didn't meet minimum disinfection standards! They notified the CA Dept of Public Health Services immediately...lotta good that did for the people!

YAY for my RO system!

Me myself being Born in America am truly ashamed at what we are becoming as a country, A over sensitive, over analyzing bunch of crying sissy's. Making me sick reading all of these articles. I'm gonna stay out of this section for a while. :-x
Well were not the one who are making the bans, and these crazy new laws. We are not the cry babys it the government allowing these problems to occur.

Yeah, but this is a democracy. If you don't like what the government is doing, you have the right to try and change it. Look at what Spikey and others have been doing. The only thing that makes us powerless is apathy.

good point....its just these past 10 years have been unreal. The main issue I see is everyone is hurting this time compared to previous 30 years. I am not counting the depression even though it feels like one....Our country is being uprooted by its foundations and then bits by bits being torn apart. These next 5 years are going to be the breaking point. If we dont start changing how this country runs we are in big trouble.

I assume you didn't live through the '80s? I was in high school and college in the '80s. Believe me. Things were just about as bad economically and politically back then as they are right now. It's fashionable to think that the current time is an important breaking point, but I assure you, people have been saying the exact same thing since the Founders laid pen to paper. The more things change, the more they remain the same.
