I've been vaping for almost a year and I heard about NT so with all the reviews I had to try them. They are absolutely exactly how described.. BUT... I vape CLS for a few minutes and my tongue gets all tingly and I get a metallic taste in my mouth. Has anyone else had this issue??? using on a vision spinner at 3.8 v. on a vivi nova 2.8 ohm coil. I have also used it on a mvp with a shorty 1.7 ohm carty at 3.7 volts with the same effect.

I second that to the metal drip tips. A lot of people use them with no trouble. I hate them in general. I have one that I use that is decent and so far works without the metallic taste, but most of them end up causing an off taste in my mouth so I always automatically replace them with a plastic drip tip.

I have also been told it might be vapors tongue but it only happens with CLS, Frenilla. I dont really lose flavor my tongue is just tingling and metallic. ??? Maybe its his vanilla. Sucks because its great juice. I got a 12mg 30 ml that I havnt even opened that I can't use now. I am going to switch drip tips though and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the advice

No problem... I was going to suggest vaper's tongue, but it seemed less likely considering how long you've been vaping. Maybe your tastebuds really are 'tired' of the juice??? But then if it doesn't happen with the same juice in other equipment... vaping... wonderful and frustrating all at the same time. :)

It's the juice! Send it to me for testing right away!!

Seriously...

No for real it could be the start of vaper's tongue. Or maybe there's something in it that's setting off a chemical reaction in your mouth. Is this your first time with any of the ingredients in CLS? New to custard vapes or natural vanilla bean? Just a thought, sort of what Cilantro does when I eat it. It tastes like I have a mouthful of Dawn dish washing liquid.

Thats what I was afraid of. I just bought a 30ml of CLS, 15ml of frenilla and 15ml of CB steeping and its all going to waste. crap. lol. I have used alot of vanilla flavors. but maybe not natural vanilla bean. I dripped this liquid in a shorty 1.7 ohm carty for about a week off and on with no effects and then all of a sudden this came along. Now I vape it for 2 min and its tingling and metallic instantly. Need a juice vendor with LOTS of flavor. now I have to start over. lol.. thanks

Well if you vaped it before and it was fine then I wouldnt rule out the vivi nova as being the culprit. Try it in something else! Maybe its the vivi nova that doesnt like the CLS.

That's a possibility,

also, I don't know if I missed it or you didn't say, but is the juice fresh? Maybe it just needs to sit some more.

This is one of the saddest things I've ever read. :(

You might re-ask in the Nicoticket sub forum or PM Kent Brooks, I've never seen this problem before, but maybe someone else has.

You could also trade them in the NT sub forum if those definitely aren't going to work for you. Those all use the same vanilla base, perhaps the culprit is in that and another flavor would be fine.

Good luck!

I'm going to guess Nicoticket? What is the nic level and is it metallic or a peppery like taste if it is then it's the nicotine in it, some vendors, nic levels seem to be more than what I am used to at say 12 mg/ml. so that might be it. I get it sometimes with killerjuice.

Very sad because the juice is fantastic. I am fairly new to the forum how do I get to NT sub-forum. Yeah Im sure its just the vanilla. I will probably try some other flavors from NT. thanks

Hi, I have had this happen to me with some types of e liquids, mostly those with Custard or Vanilla flavors. I get a strong metalic /chemical after taste but only with some from certain vendors. I am thinking that they may be using Dactyl in these to boost flavor. Try someone elses product and be careful Dactyl is very bad for you. The tingling could also be a mild allergy to one of the ingrediants, this can happen even with juices you have used before. Allergies can happen all at once to cause problems even with something you have been exposed to and never had a problem with before. Check to see if your tongue is coated white, has a deep red color, or seems swollen in any way. these are symptoms of mild allergy. Keep on Vaping on.
