Hard to tell from that angle but looks like it needs to go higher, The Nuppin air holes are pretty high up. bottom of my coils are very near the top of the center post.
Hey jet just an FYI.... Don't get me wrong not a know it all but I've been building for quite awhile but relatively new to the nuppin myself...... In the first pic above I can see that your coils can't be centered in the air slots because there not centered...? Also the second and third pics show your elevation is a little off ones higher than the other..... I don't know if it's such exacting measurements need to be taken but if your Nupin isn't producing awesome flavor I would start with tweaking center and elevation in the middle of your air slots....... I'm loving mine...... Soooo close to the magma..(imo)...it's better in that juice doesn't sit around in the wells.....my take anyway.
I'm at .5ish ohms w/26 gauge around 2.4mm wrapped 9/10.
They are lined up in the air holes just fine. My coils are only 7 wraps of 28g and not as wide as the air holes on the cap, I can clearly see both ends of the coils in the air holes on both sides. If they're off, then their off by a fraction of a mm and it's not enough to cause me any pain trying to readjust. As for the height of the coils, it was recommended to me to try one higher than the other, so I did. Its definitely a much better improvement than before, but I still get killer flavor from my cyclone which I keep going back too. It took me a while to find a coil that I love in the cyclone, so I'm sure I'll mess with this for about a month or so trying to tweak and build coils until I find something that will make it taste better than the cyclone. Right now the cyclone is still winning, the nuppins getting their though.

Hey JetMac, I've been down the exact road you're on. I bet I've put 12 or more builds of all sorts on my Nuppin that I've had since just before Christmas. I just couldn't find the flavor I get from my dual coil RM3.
I was about to throw in the towel and tried one last build a week ago that is the best I've found on it yet. Dual twisted 30g 6 wraps around a 1/16 bit that comes in around 0.4 ohms with the asymmetrical coil placement. One of our brethren suggested that twisted coils provide more flavor so I figured I'd give that a shot. Thank God it worked! I can't say that the flavor is the "same" as the RM3 because the vapor production from the Nuppin is just different - good but different. I find a fuller, smoother vape from it as compared to the RM3. Seems the RM3 has a crisper flavor (if that makes any sense) that I don't know that the Nuppin or other larger chambered attys can replicate.
So when I'm in the mood for the crisp flavor, I roll with the RM3 and switch to the Nuppin for a more silky feel. Also, make sure to really wash it good to get all of the machine oil taste out of it - took me a while to get off of my ... and make that happen. Hang in there and you'll find your build.
