V2? How about a 2nd run instead... If any changes have been made to the SS Nuppin' other than adding both naval brass and black anodized aluminum top caps with same color AFC's, extra black AFC's and more brass AFC's I'm not aware of them. If he changes the design, I may or may not still be in.

Check out pdib library thread for some deets, but he's essentially saying that he's come up with a way to remove the base's lip so the cap/afc fits more flush. V2 parts are to be interchangeable with V1 parts. He's got a hand drawn pic of the changes.

Thanks Papa, will go check it out as I have not been following his thread. Logic says if V2 caps/afc's are interchangeable on V1's they'd be a larger diameter to cover the V1's base fully. I'm not keen on two versions, so will go figure out what he's up to.

I don't have time to go weed through his thread right now... but regardless of the 510, to slide down over a "V1" base for a flush fit the V2 cap/AFC would have to be a larger inside diameter than the V1's base it seems.

ETA: Found the link... I'm 50+ pages behind to weed through laced with lots of drivel..... another time. ;)

My understanding as well, just would rather not take the risk of the possibility of spinning. From the post I quoted on, it sounded like finagle re-adjusts his post build specific, and imo, that would lead to spinning at some point...
I've backed my center pin out 1.5 turns on all my Nuppins, no issue with spinning.

So... REO #4 showed up yesterday! It's a TRA SL/LP with new 510 that's been polished! And... so did Nuppin' #4 & #5! I have more Nuppin's than REOs now so I'm patiently awaiting the Resin run of REOs and hope to land one! This combo is so great I got me another Router as well!

Nice collection you have there :) Isn't there a woodvil run with LP 510 coming soon? Stock updates tab says end of February but I haven't heard any thing about it?

Beautiful REOs pauly! May I ask how you polished the TRA? Was wondering if it was something that I could do without too much difficulty. [emoji6]

Very nice line up P. I have 6 Router's, but am going to need more. They work well on the 3 Nuppin's (3+ more to come), the Lancia (2 more coming), even the RM2's, the Senio's and some of my other non bf RDA's... might work well on the Atomic (but I don't use it) or the ERA. Kind of glad they won't on the CLT, the Derringers coming (with their own extra caps/DT's), or the Origen's. The ever increasing drawer full of atty's and DT's for the Reos makes the cost of the Reos seem negligible..... until I count up how many more LP Grands/Mech Woodvil's I'll take to use them all. LOL

Ok so I setup the nuppin yesterday, slight learning curve for setting up coils compared to standard atomizers. I don't know, I find it easier to install coils in regular three post atomizers still.

Anyway, flavor is good so far, but I did build three different set of coils to try. I ended up with pretty much the same setup as what I've got in my cyclone. A single twisted 28 wrapped on 1/16 bit but I wicked it like sXd does with a single piece of wick covering the outer rim of the deck. If I was to compare flavor from this nuppin to my cyclone w/AFC Id have to say my cyclone takes it. With the cyclone I have the same coil, same .5 ohms and same wick and I get a better flavor out of the cyclone even vaping on the same juice. I know this nuppin has a lot of potential but I don't think I have the right coils in it at this point. I guess I'll keep building coils and experimenting until I find something I'll like, plus it'll allow me to figure out how to install coils on this thing easier. Maybe I'll try to rotate the center post to make the hole alignment more forgiving. Right now it's like 90 degrees off the negative holes.

I love the way it sqounks and drains, so fast and smooth. Also, it seems like there's not a lot of room for the height of the coils being built. Once they're placed on deck and aligned with the air holes, it seems like I have maybe a few mm's of room between the coil and the top of the cap. I'm trying to keep my coils as low as I can go and keep them in line with air holes, I guess I'm just worried about the top of the cap contacting the actual coils when it's installed.

How does this thing not leak? I mean you would think that when you sqounk and juice saturates the wick and deck. Juice would fall into the negative leg holes and run out the side, I guess having so many o-rings and being machined at close tolerances it helps to prevent leaking. Even when I remove the top cap there isn't much juice on the deck where you tighten the neg screws. I thought for sure there would be juice pouring out those holes when you remove the cap.

Can anyone recommend dual coil builds that enhance flavor in this thing? I have 24g, 26g, and a little 28g left for kanthal. I normally build on either a 1/16 or 5/64 bit. Any advice on installing the legs, which one first positive or negative? The hole for the wire in the positive post is so low on the deck I have to kinda "J" the wire to grab it on the other side of the post to pull on it. Here's a pic of my build in it now. It also pops a lot when I fire it off creating a lot of spit back, maybe it's cause I've sqounked it too much?
