So ... question for all you Nuppin'nauts , as I mentioned earlier I am very happy with my current single coil 1 ohm build and have yet to try dual coils. My question is what is the biggest difference that you all find with dual coils over single coil as far as flavor, warmth, battery life, juice consumption? I am not a direct lung hitter looking for massive clouds but more warmth, flavor kind of guy with draw more towards tighter than airy. I am fighting the temptation to try a dual coils and have been hesitating as my current build is very satisfying and I'm afraid to take it off and try a different build and not get it as good , but you know how it goes, always looking for that extra 'something" which has become more and more difficult when you own a REO & Nuppin' with RxW wick!
Well, the short answers are:
flavour: increases (IMHO), due to increased vapor. How much? Maybe half again as much (veeeeeery subjective)
warmth: increases, particularly in the Nuppin', which hits harders, ohm for ohm, than most other atties. How much? Definitely noticeable.
battery life: decreases. How much? I'm finding about 2/3 the time on a fresh charge.
juice consumption: increases. How much? Roughly 1.50-2 x as much. The math would suggest 2 x (two coils), but I'm finding that the vape is more intense and so I'm drawing for shorter durations. It will mean a certain amount of increased consumption, tho.

You said your running a single, I've noticed that if I over squonk with a single I can get juice weeping out of the closed hole. The hole in the AFC that does not line up with a hole on the cap.
If you look at the top cap without a AFC ring on it, there are three holes with an o ring above and below the holes.
When you over squonk juice can go through the two holes that don't line up with the external hole. This juice then sits between the cap and the AFC ring trapped by the o rings. It can make it's way to the 2nd hole in the AFC cap that does not line up with an internal hole and leak.
I've found that if I cover the hole that does line up with my finger and draw air through the drip tip it will clear this liquid out of the AFC ring.
Also I have 10 Reos, some I can run with no o ring, others will leak with the same RBA installed if I don't use an o ring. Put the o ring on, the size of the o ring should be selected so that the Nuppin seats with a nice seal against the o ring and the air hole is lined where you want it. If the air hole is not right pick a different size o ring. I use 1mm x 10mm or 1.5 by 10, some are also using .5 x 10. Then adjust the center pin to make contact.
Yip, have noticed that too. Have covered that with cellotape.
sure enough, After a squonk I just cover the open hole with a finger and draw in air, this forces the air to come in the other hole and clear the juice from in there.
I understand what you are saying. I have noticed the same thing with the closed AFC hole....some juice collects around it. When I suck through the drip tip it clears. I will pay more attention to over squonking. I usually squonk until I can see the juice in the open AFC hole. Since the airhole is so high off the deck this is probably not a good practice.

I would like to know how you guys are able to over squonk a Nuppin' in the first place? I have deliberately tried to do this on more than one occasion and just couldn't accomplish it. Is it possible what you are experiencing is just condensation that is getting trapped due to that AFC opening, (of the atty), being inside closed off from the AFC, (actual AFC ring), hole?
I can over squonk juice right out the hole using a grand but using my mini 2.1 with a worn out bottle I can't.
With the mini I was wondering if I needed a new bottle. I am not sure what the difference would be but you are correct that is interesting. I do know the nuppin seems to hold dang near half a bottle before it overflows....lol

Soon as Reo#10 gets here for Nuppin'#3 (I ordered a LP Grand Copper Vein w/adj 510), I'll be sending my other LP's in for the 510 update. Can't imagine a day/night without at least one LP Reo/Nuppin' in use. Later the standard Reos will get haircut/update as well, or I will just buy 3 more LP's.
