I have 3 Reos, as well as several tube mods and such, which I've collected prior to owning my Reos. What I have always done is; once I 'marry' an atty to a mod, it pretty much stays there. This applies especially to Reos. You'll never destroy the gaskets in the old style Reo 510 connector by vaping it. But you'll eventually wear it out by continually screwing attys on and off. That's how you wear out gaskets. For me, the only time the atty comes off is when I'm doing a thorough cleaning. Otherwise, I change flavors, re wick, dry burn, and all that stuff, with the atty in place. What I do when I'm setting up is this: I'll put the atty on without an o ring, at first. I'll screw it down just until it makes contact, so it will fire. Then I'll turn it slightly more, until I have the coils where I want them, so that the air holes will be where I like them, which for me is 90 degrees from the fire button. Then I will look at the space, if there is any, between the bottom of the atty and the top of the connector on the Reo. I then guesstimate what thickness o ring will fill the gap. It might need a 1mm. It might need a 1.5mm Then, I'll take the atty off, put the o ring on, and put the atty back on. That's where it will stay, until I do my next cleaning, which might be anywhere from a couple weeks to a month.

that little tube is reducer, you put it in the end of the tube in the bottle. It's to stop auto squonking if your running thin juices in hot environments or change altitudes a lot, like driving up and down mountains all the time.

that's probably a 1mm, you could try a .5 from a hardware store. take it with you and check it against what they have to make sure you get a thinner one.

I have 10 that I bought from Rob's site, so it must be the 1mm one. I'll look online for a 0.5 because the closest hardware store is almost an hour away. Thank you for your help!

REOS Mods
1.0mm x 10
1.5mm x 10

I have also picked up some different size from a local hardware store but the two Rob sells are what I use 99% of the time. I keep a good supply on hand.

Ratttler, I could only find the "O" ring on Rob's site for the 6ml tube. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thank you, Rattler! What I have is definitely a 1.5. I will look online for a 1x10. Should it be food-grade? I remember somewhere that they should be food grade, if that makes any sense.

Hmmmm Have not even considered that. I do not know enough about all the types of material to be sure. I have bought and used orings from a bin at Ace Hardware and lowes that are individually packaged but do not have a clue what they are made from ....lol

I am betting someone will have a much better answer for you.

Not a better answer, but for me if it's safe enough for my faucet that good enough for me.

They are made from buna/nitrile rubber which is a good general purpose material for resistance against most everyday chemicals and it's cheap!! Over time some e-liquids will cause them to swell and degrade.

If you were fixated with getting food grade o-rings, then i'd suggest you buy FDA approved silicone ones, which last longer using corrosive juices like mine, but are expensive in comparison.
