I am sold on it and bought 2 black ones from GearBest for $20.96 each with free shipping. I couldn't resist at that price. Bought a few other goodies too such as 4 HG2 18650's for $16.93 and some drip tips.

Well I see the price went up to $32.99 at GearBest about 2 days after I ordered mine. The problem is that it is still stating that my order status is "Processing" so I don't know how long it will sit in that condition. I did also place a smaller order 3 days later and that one was shipped yesterday.

ok I made time for this and threw my first build in it.

1. the build deck, which was my only real concern, is a joy to put a build on

2. I wicked it similar to a Cthulhu, making obvious adjustments for how the Crius deck differed. Just enough wick to sit in the holes without being densely packed.

3. the build quality is excellent

4. the black has a nice matte finish which matches my BMI pretty well

5. it wicks great with bubbles after every draw and nothing resembling a wicking problem

6. airflow is greater than a Cthulhu but not like an rda. For me, the Crius has perfect rta airflow.

7. No leaks on fill thanks to a well thought out system of top fill, juice control and airflow control

8. The post holes were plenty big for dual 26 ga, honestly I don’t know if mine is the original or revised, but they didn’t look small to me and were no issue at all.

9. This tank vapes well at 45w, better at 50w, but at 60w I could get a dry hit. That is probably my wicking more than the tank. I am settling at 52.5w and airflow 3/4 open. I have never run any tank at anything less than wide open airflow if that tells you anything about the airflow on this.

10. vape is warm-ish which I like, but you could run this at 40-45w with wide open air and it’d be cool

11. no leaks or condensation at the air holes as of yet

12. it’s smallish, which is good

13. vapor is dense and plentiful. Watching Youtube reviews it seemed like maybe that was an area where the Crius wasn’t a top performer. Nope, I’d say that vapor is thicker and more plentiful than my Cthulhus.

14. flavor is great, easily on par with my Cthulhus

so my initial impression of the Crius is that it’s a home run. It’s exactly what I wanted my next tank after the Cthulhu to be, unlike the Aromamizer which I can’t find a way to love. When I throw my next build in I am going even lighter on wick in the holes because it looks like I got one or two of them right but the other two likely have too much wick in them. It does appear to drink juice more than any tank I’ve owned. So far no juice on my mod, which was my big gripe about the Cthulhu.

Really nicely made with a good build deck and useful juice and airflow control, and thoughtful top filling. Great flavor and vapor. Probably as good as this style of tank is going to get. I’ll have better thoughts and criticisms after a day or two, but right now I’m thrilled with this tank.

I have the original. My Cthulhu and Aromamizer drip tips fit it, but a couple I had laying around did not.

So the post holes on the original are big enough for dual 24ga builds, which is perfect for a tank. If you’re into twisted or clapton wait for a revised. I’m fine with this because I almost always do 26ga in a tank, sometimes 24ga.

my impressions of this tank after using it through the day are that I’d like more than one. No leaking, slight condensation on top of my mod around the air holes, but that’s it. It’s pretty perfect.
Same here, and I have to say it looks great :)
All my 510 tips fit the v2 just fine. I actually really like it has Phillips screws instead of grub as well. Haven't tried yet but with these screws looks like I could put a leg under the head versus in the post hole. Once I play with it more seems this would give you more build versatility.

I've only used this for a few hours, but I too am pretty thrilled with it. Dual 26 gauge .52 ohm at 32.5 watts currently. It's everything the Lemo 2 should have been, although the Lemo 2 is a good tank, it has wicking and leaking issues no matter how I build it.

This hasn't leaked a bit even on its side and the vape is great. The only thing I don't like about it is the build deck, I've never enjoyed the two post design with one hole each like the Foggers and Billows. If it had a Velocity-type deck, it would be a perfect tank.

Looks great on the VTC Mini too!

EDIT: Actually I forgot one thing - I can't seem to figure out how to disconnect the glass section from the top cap.

Does this tank fit dual 24 gauge wire with 3mm ID? (not twisted or anything).

Not sure what Ti wire to order, and I need an answer ASAP :) Found it @ 22$ and need to order fast.

I got bored of 2.5mm on my Billow v2 because of the small space. Couldn't go more than 40W and dry hits...
With 3mm ID it should keep up at more watts and I do want a warm saturated vape.

Currently rocking my TFV4 with TF-R2 and using 70watts with dual twisted 26 gauge kanthal, that's the type of vape I seek from the Crius. But this can't handle 3mm with the wire thickness too, still rocking 2.5mm :(

Edit: Ordered 26 gauge because TVC video shows the size of the deck is kinda small for large coils.

I wrap 2mm almost always, and I vape my Aromamizer at 65w, my Crius at 50w, and my Cthulhus can do 65w although I prefer them around 50w. For me the smaller coils produce better flavor.

In my experience 2mm is good to 70w or so in a tank, any bottleneck feeding juice to the wick is either the fault of the tank or the wicking job. IMO.

An updated review on the Crius v2 by Mike Vapes. He shows the changes to the post holes and the drip tip sizing. Also a wick tutorial. All that is missing is the Velocity style deck with 4 total post holes instead of 2. :)

Updated OBS Crius RTA , Wick Tutorial, And is this my Favorite RTA?

Now if only GearBest would respond to my support ticket or change the status out of Processing status I can someday get my order that I placed a week ago.

Have any of you done a one to one comparison between the Crius and the Zephyrus? Looking for details like air flow, flavor, ease of building and wicking. I love my Zephyrus but it's difficult to get it wicked right every time. The Crius is a great looking tank and I really like the way the top fill works.

Well I have a Zephyrus and airflow is perhaps like 5% less in a crius, but I think the flavor is a tiny bit better in the crius. I've tried 3-4 juices with almost same dual coil TI on my ipv d2. I never had any problems with wicking my Zephyrus. And so far I changed wicks already 4-5 times in my crius. And no wicking issues so far. But i do use Fibre Freaks density 2. Haven't used regular cotton pads/ko gen doh in a while.

Filling up my Zephyrus aint hard, yank out the red part, fill it up. I don't even bother closing off airflow, since i never have any leaking. Filling up the Crius is easier if you are out and about, since you don't have to watch out if you drop the red part etc.

For building. A Zephyrus has separate holes, and makes it a tad easier for snapping off the wire. With a Crius you have to be a bit more careful to not snap the other wire. I've tried TI 0,4 mm, 0,3 mm and nife30 0,32mm so far in the Crius. I haven't tried kanthal at all in it. As mentioned a Velocity style deck would be uber in this tank. I use 2,5mm diameter for my coils, 6-7 spaced wraps, they fit perfectly. Could even do 2 wraps more perhaps, since I do have room left

Heres an image of my first coil

dsc_06491.jpg

It wasn't the best, but it did the job, and as you can see it there is some room left for 1-2 more wraps

Well I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this over the Bellus as it seems that you guys are liking it. Looks like this tank is/will go under the radar big time. Well unless we hear it's "sick as t*ts" I guess :) My first dual and I'm jumping in full steam ahead as I got some Ti wire as I'll be getting into TC for the first time and have some 26/32 & 28/32 clapton shoots for $1.10 for 10 or something to try them out on my tanks as I'm thinking the 28/32 might fit in my Protank/Lemo2 but probably not the 26 while dual claptons might be silly in this tank especially if it drinks juice fast.

But speaking of juice draining fast it's pretty odd to me. My Lemo 2 drinks it like crazy compared to my Protank and Cloupor Z4, so I expect this to drain it faster depending on my setup of course but most likely with duals and running 30+ watts as I really can't reach that with my other tanks. My question is with TC on this tank, or TC in general I guess, does it affect how much juice it sucks down at all, or is it still 100% dependent on the settings pretty much, for example running 40-50 watts in Ti mode with decent temps compared to 40-50 just regular kanthal?

I hope you actually get the item. I only ordered from them only once. It got shipped Aug 19th and still haven't received it yet. I sent them a support ticket but from what I've read I'm pretty much SOL.
