So, here's a question of mine that I just can't seem to find an answer to. I have been smoking tobacco cigs on and off for a couple years, and just now got into vaping as a solution. So far, I love it, and cigarettes are no longer attractive to me, having realized what I used to put in my body vs. what I am now. The problem is, I just recently came of age to legally smoke and buy e-cig materials. I'm not quite sure, however, to break it to my parents, that what I had promised as a child I would never do (smoke... obviously) is now a hobby. Yes, I know, they've seen the facts of regular cigarettes having 5,000+ chemicals in them, whereas e-cigs literally contain 3, none of which are carcinogenic or harmful. However, they still do not like the idea of smoking. I pointed out to them that it's not smoking, it's "vaping" and their definition of vaping is associated with drugs (they grew up in the hippie movement.) How do I tell them? Any advice at all would be appreciated. ;-)
