Hey Drozd; Definitely looks like a faulty switch mech ( not sticking just faulty) good news the 13 sec cutoff appears to be working as your video shows. Thanks for the heads up . Electronic component's can do some strange stuff once and awhile. Thanks again.
Seriously, it's ok unless the other batteries start doing that in as short amount of time...hopefuly it's not a too common thing...
As a bonus the cats were entertained by it the rest of the night after I put it in a sand bucket...the 2 of them sat on either side of it and stared at the blue flickery light for hours..
Never noticed any of mine acting exactly like this, but all 7 of my manuals some times "double fire"-fire again after I release the button. Not often enough to be alarmed though.
Thats enough for me. I will disconnect all batts from their cartos from now on.
BTW, my gal is a journalist and has a fear of fire since she covers all those house fire stories. Anything with a heating element should be unplugged when not in use. Toasters, coffeemakers, blow dryers etc. They are the cause of more house fires than anything.

Agreed, though try convincing my kids of that as far as the toaster goes..thankfully we don't drink coffee here so no worries there...but it's amazing how acutely aware and precautionary you become once you've watched it happen to your stuff or otherwise been personally involved..
I had a 401 auto knock off "clean cig" that started acting weird--flashing and flickering, I thought it was running low so i charged it. got the green light took it off put the atomizer & cart on and it started burning, quickly screwed off the atomizer. I then realized i had likely dripped some juice in the automatic hole. i tried wiping out and shaking out the juice inside and thing kept flickering and then started getting hotter and hotter.
i tried cleaning out the hole with a little pin. but it started to stink like frying electrical short. I quickly put it in a ceramic coffee cup i had at hand--thinking the battery might explode and it kept sputtering and getting hotter and hotter. the little plastic led started to melt and i took it outside. bunch of fumes came off and it stank really nasty.
definitely a fire risk. don't leave it anywhere near anything flammable etc. I didn't have the presence of mind to take a video.
val, this was forever ago like January, I pretty much gave up on it..and wasn't really looking for it to be replaced...I was gonna send it to Adrenalynn for dissection...
I think it was a freebee anyway...and I'm giving away my V4L kit to boot anyway so at best any replacement would just end up as part of the kit I'm giving away in the paying it forward thread I started...so don't worry about it..
