dead battery

first of all let me say i really like the vapor king kr8 so far. i recently purchased two of the shorty value kits for me and my fiance. but one of my batteries seems to have shorted out while on the charger. it worked before i put it on the charger. during charging i saw the led blink like it was done charging but when i picked it up the charger light was still red indicating it wasnt done charging so i left it alone. when i took it off the charger ad put on a carto it fired instantly (auto batts by the way) so i took off the carto and tried again, sae thing. i blew in to the battery at the atty side thinking that the switch just got stuck. and put the carto back on it didnt start sizzling right away(good sign)... but when i tried to inhale nothing happened. as of right now when i inhale the led will come on like normal but no vape no sizzling nothing. i have tried several different cartos but none of them work on it and they do work on my other batt.

any ideas on what might have happened or how to fix?

The only thing I could think of is that the middle connector is not contacting the cart, or a wire is not connected right to the pos/neg for the cart connection. Because if the LED is coming on then you know you got it to charge at least, did you try the fix dead battery fix where you turn the middle connector like a 1/4 turn counter clock wise? that might fix it, search for the thread with the details on that fix, cause I might have direction to turn or some thing wrong.

Same thing happened with one of my batteries a couple weeks back. Not sure how but in regards to fixing it just get in touch with V4L and you'll have a new one in the mail in a few days. You'll just have to ship back the defective one after you receive the replacement so hold onto it.
