Ody top cap nut

Unfortunately from time to time I travel for work. My last trip I disassembled everything including my ody and packed it away safely.

When I returned home my top cap was nowhere to be found and now not only is the cap lost but so am I!

I love my ody - use it 99% of the time. I've been going nuts ever since.

If anyone has one please help out a fellow gg'er.

I know I should put this under wanted but I figured it would get more traction here.

And Imeo -your stuff is so good I've been selling everything else.

I'm just itching for something new (have ggts, ody, & pene)

Sorry to hear that. I don't have any spares or I'd help you out- but the UFS Small Top Cap will also work on the Ody just fine.
Not any easier to find right now, but another option to look for anyway.
Maybe there'll be some extras coming in with the GGTS-UFS preorders in a month or so,
but hopefully you can find one before then.

The last batch was the same cris. The oldest batch was not exactly the same but they are an almost perfect fit. If the cap is older then it will extrude 1mm more than the real Ody's cap

Thats a bummer. Glad you have one coming though. Until it comes, you might be able to do pull a rube goldberg and get fancy with a sliver of duct tape. Once the gap is set right, you can finish wrapping and poke a hole through the tape and fill with a hypodermic. That should hold you for a few days until the replacement cap comes.

exactly Malig. Only Ody's parts will be preordered in about 1 month. I will just make parts for people that have a problem with their parts or for people that want to complete their units

thats sort of a let down, i wanted my first GG system to be GG stealth whit telescope,top tube and a odysseus, the ithaka its a huge improved version of the oddy and i would love to get 1 as well but the only thing that bothers me a little its it wont had the beautiful mouth piece of the ody/penelope, but in the end might as well offer a classic moutpice and the new drip tip piece option on the preorder and make every one happy
