Awesome JD, nice to hear when vapers are pushing others away from analogs... I am coming up on 2-1/2 years>I cant even believe I quite the first day with what was available, but I enjoyed the journey...;)

I'm coming up on 2 years soon and cant believe it either!! Ahh that first Blu lol and I never even intended to use my first ecig to quit, just another toy to smoke inside with....so I thought. Quitting smoking just happen to be a side effect :)

should be getting mine today. I am very excited. No one ever answered my question about the black matte vs the stainless and cleaning. Is it sketchy to rinse the black matte in alcohol. Is there anything to be worried about?

If it doesn't have any other ingredient in it, like acetone, then you should be OK. Any IPA or Ethyl or what-not that lists anything other than 'purified water' as an inactive ingredient should make you weary. Especially those than have the DDs to prevent consumption. Those will leave a residue that will make everything taste like crap for a while.

If you're just talking Everclear or Vodka, then you're good to go. -Magnus

ob, I allowed my black matte HH .357 soak in Everclear for 30 mins. No problems and the atty is still black matte. In the past I have soaked my rubber coated color 510 atty's in Everclear and they are now SS. After that experience, I stop buying covered atty's and just stuck with the SS. I was blessed with a black matte 357 Saturday night and I am enjoying its blackness. Personally, I could careless what color it is, just as long as it continues to preform like it is now!

of course my mailman is on vacation today and I have no idea when the mail is going to show up. figures.

If your mailman goes on vacation, no one fills in? Even in this little one horse town I live in, when the mail person goes on vacation, the newspaper delivery person fills in!!! LOL I'm praying for a temp for you OB! LOL!

I have about six hours of vaping time on this HH and the vapor production and TH are markedly better than anything I've tried. However between the two nicquids I've tried so far it's really muting the flavor. My Vermillion Kentucky Vanilla hits like a brick but none of the undertones or vanilla aftertaste are there anymore. I tried CCs House Blend and the same.

So I'll wait to see how flavors play out after more break-in time but the vapor and TH are already wicked. -Magnus

Mine pops and spews out hot eliquid when I first fire it up (looks like eliquid fireworks) anyone else have this issue?

Is this after following the startup instructions and a bit of time letting the juice soak the mesh? I certainly didn't have that problem nor do I recall seeing it elsewhere on either thread about the HH. -Magnus

i was having this problem..but my seal was broke so i sent it in for exchange...not sure if the problem is correlated.

do you have to "wait" to let the juice soak everytime after not using it for a while? or just on the initial break in?

I cleaned mine between switching nicquids and did need to wait ~15m or so for the nicquid to set/soak in. Someone else suggested ~30m. It definitely helped versus the anxious kick-start when I first got it. -Magnus
