in the third day I have noticed a drop in production.

Not me man, fourth day of ridiculous hours and this thing is still performing ridiculously well except for my previously noted flavor issues. I've cleaned it using H-bomb's instructions using IPA five or six times now switching flavors and no problems. Hrmm.

How big of a drop? You've soaked it and it's still doing it? -Magnus

what I am finding now is that the hits are very inconsistent. One good, one mediocre. It changes from hit to hit.

Just on the off-chance, did you look at the o-ring on your drip-tip? I doubt that's it but it's worth a look.. I had a favorite drip-tip that a small chunk of the o-ring was taken out and suddenly depending on how I put it in, it would cause a little pressure loss and inconsistent drags.

Otherwise I'm guessing you'll have to wait on H-bomb &| Cisco to chime in. -Magnus

that is super annoying. I have had that happen before.

man! vape the heck out of your atty, they are not like the others out there, take a harder or faster pull on them.. i got one that leaks and i chain vape on it , and it vapes like a work horse, tons of vape, only thing is that i can only drip 2 drops at a time. and in my opinion i dont wash it out , just VAPE on it. hit it like a .357 should be hit!. i have been loading this one for 2wks now

Just got my 357's an hour ago. After along wait and a couple of issues now I will see whats up with this atty. My initial impressions are:

1) Draw: The draw is perfect. Its air tight no air pulling in with the vapor. You do not have to pull so hard to get a good drag.

2) Leakage: None. I cant stand having to wipe down my atty all the time or it leaks on me.

3) Ohms: 1.5 like it should be

4) Voltage Out: This is on a Pro Vari. It works from 3.3-4.2 Volts. E2 at 4.3 Volts.

5) Throat hit: Good

6) Taste on inhale: Good

7) Warm Inhale: Good

8) Taste Exhale: Good

9) Vapor Production: OK. I believe it will get better. Let u know as it gets broke in.

Praise be to the vaping God's! Cam, I am so happy you got your HH .357's today and that your happy with the performance. Finally, a good reason to open that last bottle of homemade Blackberry wine. Thank you Cam!

First impressions/results...

  • Vapor production is massive
  • TH is perfect for my juice
  • No leakage as of yet
  • Gets quite warm quite quickly
  • Read exactly at 1.5Ω
  • Voltage under load read at 3.52v (around 1:36am 8/8/2011)
  • Voltage load on my bat read 3.82v (around 1:36am 8/8/2011)
  • Sleeve is slightly narrower which makes the drip tip a nice but snug fit
  • Short drags produce a good amount of vapor (less than 5 seconds)
  • Long drags produce slightly less vapor (more than 5 seconds)
  • Flavor is muted
  • Using Minnesota Menthol at 25mg...70/30 pg/vg
  • Utilizing 4 drops each time
  • Vaping with it for approx 7 hours
  • Flooded it around 4:30pm 8/8/2011 (most likely user error)
  • Voltage under load read at 3.48v (around 4:56pm 8/8/2011)
  • Voltage load on my bat read 3.80v (around 4:56pm 8/8/2011)
  • Flavor still muted after 7 hours of use
  • Vapor production still massive
  • TH still perfect for my juice

Those are my results for the time being. :vapor:

I received the HH357 on Saturday and after two days of vaping these are my impressions:

Throat Hit:
Probably the strongest throat hit I have experienced on any atomizers.

Flavor:
I would rate the flavor as about the same as on a LR306 a little muted on a 1.5Ohm atty. Maybe as Mike(MVGRATZ) said 2.0 ohms might be better.

Vapor:
Good strong vapor but not the best I have ever seen. I have some LR306 attys that produced much more vapor.

Problems:
This thing is just too easy to flood on my REO. I've been using REO mods for over a year and have never experienced this type of flooding on either a 306 or 510 atty. My thanks to Mike who suggested I use the reducing tube on the REO because it has helped. But all in all just a PITA.

Obviously I can't say anything yet about longevity I took a chance on this because I am tired of most LR306's getting tired after about tow weeks. For $21.99 I'm not convinced that this is the promised land of atomizers. Will continue to update this as time goes by.

Epic Journey
I have yet to use a fully charged AW P18650 3.7v 2600mAh at 4.2v with the HH .357, the battery started at 4.09v if memory serves me correct.

Ahh, gotcha. Well, if you have a chance to test it when you recharge it, I would love to know the answer since that's the exact same battery I'm using for this atty most of the time along with AW 16340 IMRs. Thanks.
